"But what if she wasn't the girl, she didn't even look like Jackie when she was in my house-" She gasped when she accidentally spilled that information. Leon's eyes widen when he heard what she just said. His hands immediately grabbed her collar and pinned her on the wall.
"You're telling me you had her in your house the whole 13 days while you were off the field?! AND you didn't report to me."
"I'm sorry... She- she-"
"UNACCEPTABLE."
He raised his hand and was about to slap her when the ER lights went off. He immediately dropped her and stood with his hands behind him.
"How was she?"
"We managed to pull the bullet out from her body before it did any severe damage. She's sleeping."
Leon nodded and thanked the doctor. He glanced at Robin and went to the room where she was. She followed him wanting to know what he's going to do with her. He opened the door and saw Jemma resting with tubes connected to her chest and nose. Leon and Robin went near her and examined her. Leon was glaring at Jemma while Robin looked at her with worry. Leon then grabbed one of the tubes and was about to yank it off of her but a hand stopped him from doing so.
"Why are you concerned about her all of a sudden?" Leon raised an eyebrow.
"We need her for interrogation. We obviously can't ask questions on a dead body." Robin replied.
"Oh? Isn't it because you have a soft heart for her?" Leon raised his voice slightly. She realized that she was gripping on his wrist very tight. She let go and remained quiet.
Leon scoffed and turned around when Jemma started moving around. Once Jemma opened her eyes, all she could see was Leon and... the person who shot her.
"Welcome to hell, Jemma Steele." Jemma didn't say anything and tried to sit up but she hissed when she felt a sting of pain on her chest area.
"What the f*ck... where am I?" "Once you're fully healed, we'll take you to where you belong." He then walked away leaving Robin and Jemma in the room.
"What are you doing here... Here to see me bleed? Suffer?"
"I'm here to ask this simple question."
Damn it she knew...
"Is it true, you're Jackie?"She knew...
"How did you-"
"JUST answer the damn question. Yes or no?"
"Y-yes..." Jemma answered, looking away.
