A few days later, Robin decided to check on Jemma. She couldn't believe that she's concerned about her. However at the same time she's wondering if she said was the truth. When she saw Jemma's cell, she saw what was expected but never expected to be that bad. Jemma looked up and saw her. She looked down slowly. Robin looked away because she didn't want to see her in that condition.
"This is what you get for not cooperating... it could've been more easier when you-"
"This is nothing. I question what he's done to you."
Robin knew what she meant.
"He did what I deserve."
She looked up trying to hide the horror in her face.
"You don't deserve whatever you've done."
"Do you have ANY idea how bad I wanted to kill you?"
Jemma chuckled,"I can see... Now you got me... you might as well kill me. I've done so much sh*t." She smiled to herself as she stared at the ceiling.
Robin kept looking at her waiting for her to talk more. She didn't like when she talked about death.
"I can't kill you... I need more answers."
"Jesus... more interrogation."
"It's not interrogation. I call it an interview."
"Just ask one."
I want to ask about my parents. I want to ask why you're still concerned about me after what we've talked about in the house. Now I wonder if you actually like me.
"You know you're a really confusing person. Anyway, about my parents..."
"What about them?" Jemma kept a straight face. Robin wondered why she's cooperating easily.
"You said they tried to sell me...?"
"Yeah, it's the truth."
"How can I trust you..."
"It's your choice whether to trust me. It depends if you believe in my lies or the truth behind it."
Robin's mind was in a mess but she has one way to confirm if she was telling the truth.
Jemma smirked slightly, "Mind boggling, eh? Anyway you should go. I need my beauty sleep but I can't when someone is watching me sleep."
Jemma went to her bed and waited for her to leave.
"Oh and by the way, I'd rather not trust your boss."
Robin quietly walked away and went to the office of hers and Leon's. When she walked in, she saw him writing a few words in a paper.
"Leon? Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?" He asked while looking at the paper.
"The file that you gave me about Steele. She mentioned about my parents and claimed that she was innocent of what she did."
"You once told me about that incident. Did you believe her lies?"
"No but I just need more confirmation."
