That night after night class, I headed to the dining hall to grab supper. I hope it is fried rice. Just the thought about it make my stomach growl.

"Iz! Here! Sit with us," Yan waved at me at the side of the dining hall. That is actually our favourite spot. I smiled, walking towards them. Getting nearer, I saw them whispering to each other.

"Okay tell me what is the topic now," I said, putting the plate on the table and sit. I scanned their faces one by one. They remained silent for a moment.

"Iz, do you sense anything wrong with that new girl?" Nuz asked hesitatedly. Then they exchange eye contact with each other. I raised an eyebrow.

They noticed it too? Should I tell them or not? What happened?

"Haa no. Why? What happened?" I decided to keep it to myself of what happened that afternoon.

"Iz! You know that girl is so weird.." "Yes she is weird this evening..." "I saw it too.." Few voices entered my ear simultaneously.
"Whoa, calm your horses girls. One by one," I laughed. "Okay you," I pointed to Yan.

"At school this evening, I bumped into her at the toilet. I waved at her but she just glare at me. Then I thought maybe she just doesnt recognized me. So I tried to make conversation with her, then she just gave me a snort of disgust and leave. I was speechless. What is wrong with her?" She explained under one breath with a furrowed brow. I nodded. They were all exchanged look again.

"Okay your turn, Nuz," I looked at her.

"Okay this evening, I was laying on my bed, reading novel. I felt uneasy as if someone is watching me. But I brush off that feeling. Then I want to drink some water. I glanced at her, and you know what? She was watching me! She was sitting on her bed, keeping her eyes on me and her smile is freaking creepy," I dont surprised to see Nuz acting like that because she is always exaggerating a story.

She continued, "she was smiling but the moment I smiled back at her, her smile faded and her gaze getting sharper towards me. I can actually feel my hair behind my neck standing."

Mimi interrupted, "that was actually the same thing happened to me just now!" They were holding each other hands.

"Before going to the night class, I was about to say hello to her because I dont actually get the chance to in the evening. So I greet her and offer my hands to shake hands. She just standing there with exactly the look that Nuz said earlier and no smile. I was taken aback and just go after that," she looked at me.

"Maybe she was just having a bad day. Or maybe she was missing her family, homesick perhaps? We dont know her yet so calm down guys," I laughed. As the head, I feel like I am responsible to make things right. The responsibility to think positively and make them feel the same.

"Maybe thats a part of her habit? Relax, she just arrived. Dont make her feel isolated and intimidated. Just let me know when she do something out of ordinary," I said.

"This is completely not normal. Like seriously in one day, she make all of us scared," Yan said. They all nodded.

"Hahaha dont think negatively. Okay okay relax. Nothing is gonna happened. Lets eat. Its getting late."

I have to know the truth and the reason why she did that.
