Ruined moments
The Boss's Pov,
Yes!, now was the moment, I had finally got the chance to finish Elvis off for rescuing Sandra, it was time to show him that nobody messes with the Boss and goes scot free.

I pulled out my gun and aimed it at Elvis as I laughed and ripped of my disguise, he stood there, shocked as I did that and I wondered what was going through his head at that moment, I liked how Sandra looked horrified as she realized what I was about to do. I warned her, but she wouldn't listen.

No!, she screamed as she flunked herself onto Elvis, just at that moment before a gunshot rung out and I felt a sharp pain in my side.
I fell to the ground as blood oozed from my wounds, another gunshot rung out and this time, I had no doubt it was Adair, my bodyguard who had been shot.

That was the last thing I heard before I got drowned in the darkness that was calling onto me.
I saw the face of my beloved daughter, as she called out to me with her arms stretched towards me, "come Daddy, we have to go for it is time", she said as I took her hands and she pulled me along, it was so quiet and yet so angelic.
If this is what death was then I am welcoming it with my two hands.

Was this death?, was I finally dead?, nope I am very sure I am alive.
I woke up on a hospital bed, wires upon winding wires were strapped to my arms and chest.

I turned to my side as I heard Adair speak. Wait Adair, the idiot was alive, but how?.

" Boss you are finally up", he said as he held my hand and began to explain.

According to him, I was shot after I had accidentally shot Sandra in my haste to shoot Elvis, and now he was sure the girl was dead. Oh!  what a waste of talent. She was going to make me a fine Soldier but now, she was wasted.

Elvis had escaped with his friend and he wanted to know if we should go after them, I told him no.
I had my own plans in progress, it was time to lay low for a while.
