They all silently ride their horses back to camp. After long moments, what felt like hours, of silence Clarke speaks up.

"We could try to build a connecting bridge." She suggests.

Raven, who is riding only a few feet infront of her, shakes her head. "The ground is too unstable for anything to hold for more than a week."

Clarke slightly nods her head understandingly. "Is there anything that we can do!" She asks frustratedly.

"Unless you want to risk your life sliding down that slope just to trade, than nope. At least i font have any ideas." Raven sarcastically replies.

"Haha very funny." Clarke snarles, turning her head to face Raven. "Both of you! This is not a joking matter." Abby strictly orders the two girls.

They ride their horses silently back to the camp then part their pwn ways once inside the gates.

Raven headed to the ark, where she would work on ways to get across. Abby headed to her office to try and get some well needed sleep. And Clarke headed back to her small wooden cabin, and awaits the return of her daughters.

Eventually getting bored, Clarke makes her way to the back of the house, where 3 horses stand in wooden stables. She fills small pales of water and gives them to each horse.

When Clarke relizes that she still has about an hour till her childern return home, she makes the decision to go visit Raven, who is still hard at work on a plan.

"Hey." Clarke says walking through the door of the mechanic sector.

Raven looked back and gave her a weak fake smile. "Hows the plan going?" She asks Raven, who has three long peices of paper laid out infront of her.

As Clarke gets closer, she notices that Raven is looking at a bunch of maps. "Not too good. But i'll figure something out."

Clarke leans on the table Raven is working on. "If you need my help, i'm always available." She reasures her. Raven nodds then returns her attention back to the maps.

She puts her finger on the top right vorner of the middle map. "There's a shallow river about 32 kilometres from where the bridge caved in." Raven says.

Clarke pushes herself from her spot against the table and joins Raven in looking at the map. "So thats our way around!?" Clarke smiles at Raven.

"It'll take about." Raven does the math in her head, counting her fingers and searching the air. "5-7 days by the vehicle or 7-10 days by horse."

Clarke nods her head. "And walking or running wouldn't be an opinion?" She half-asks half- explains. "Not unless you wanna waste 2 or 3 weeks of your life." Raven quietly laughs at her own little joke.

Clarke checks the time on her fathers watch. "Crap." She says to herself, "i have to go get the kids now. Sorry to run." She says walking away from Raven.

She hears Raven yell a 'no problem' as she heads out and toward Megan and Jasper's home.

She knocks on the door of the small wooden cabin and waits for the door to open. When it does, a 5 foot tall girl with shoulder-length black hair appears.

"Hey Megan!" Clarke says, giving her friend a hug.

"Emma's just getting her stuff together." Megan said looking back toward the hall she had supposivly just come from.

"I hope she wasn't too mich troubled." Clarke smiled aqwardly. "No, no. Not at all." Megan said returning the aqward smile.

They stand there in silence until Emma comes bursting down the hall with joy. "Hi mommy!" She squeles hugging Clarke.

Clarke puts her arms around her daughter but doesnt bend doen to enforce a full hug. She looks at Megan and nods a thankyou before walking away.

Once the reach the house, Clarke lets Emma inside then checks her fathers watch before entering herself. 1 hour till i have to pick up Dutch. She thinks. That leaves enough time for dishes, a house cleaning and reading with Emma.

Her thoughts are inturupted by the loud thud of Emma emptying her tous onto her bedroom floor.

Clarke gets to work on the dishes as Emma silently plays in her room. "Momma." She hears Emma yell from her room.

When Clarke doesnt answer, Emma yells again, "Mommy! I have a question." Clarke puts down the small glass she was cleaning and turns to face the hallway.

A few seconds later, Emma is stomping (happy stomps not angry stomps) doen the hall and into the kitchen.

"I don't like yelling in the house." Clarke explains to Emma as she sits on the couch. "Next time just come get me, i wont answer if you yell." She says calmly.

"Fine." Emma gives in. Clarke turns back to continue her cleaning, Emma stands behind her mother and starts to talk.

"Mommy, can we go see Lexa tomorrow!" She asks, happily jumping up and down.

"Honey, i'm sorry we can't." Clarke looked at her with sadness in her eyes.

"Why not?" Emma asks, beging to become sad.

"During a storm a few nights ago, the bridge was destroyed and theres no other way to get to Jelekim. I'm sorry honey, but you can't see her."
