It seemed as though we had just dozed off when I jerked awake, unable to identify where I was. After peeking around, I noticed I was laying on a rather stiff pillow, on a small couch and I was nearly falling off the edge.
I got into my regular position, which was laying on top of the pillow. But, for some reason, I couldn't get comfortable. I wiggled around, fluffed up the pillow- which didn't actually work, and even tried to move the pillow around, but nothing seemed to work.
Then, I heard a rather sleepy voice ask, "What are you doing? It is way too late for this." I gasped rather loudly, and then fell off the couch. It was not my fault; I just wasn't expecting a guy to be anywhere close to me as I slept. But, when I listened better, I realized who it was. It was Dom!
"What is wrong with you?" I asked furiously, getting up and dusting myself off. "You had to sleep with me?"
He smirked, and I had to restrain myself from face palming. "Not like that, you moron." I muttered.
He shrugged. "Wasn't my fault, darling. You were actually the one to drag me over, I just didn't fight." I glared at him, but then paled as I began to remember the events of last night.
"How could I do that?" I asked, starting to pace around. "I wasn't drunk, was I?" He shook his head.
"You weren't drunk. But, you were just a tad sleepy. Daniel may have slipped a few things into any of your drinks.." I interrupted him. "But, I didn't drink anything!"
His face was troubled. "Then I have no idea what happened. All I know for certain is, when I got back, you were laying down on him and I kicked him out. The, you dragged me over and laid on me. You're very warm, by the way." I began to blush. That was the reason I hated cuddling; Everyone always broke the laws of my bubble. All they wanted was to steal my warmth.
I had obviously gotten lost in thought for a little bit, for when I looked up, I could see him shaking his head at me. "What?"
He smiled. "Nothing." I narrowed my eyes at him. There was no way I was going to let him get away with a one word answer. Especially since he was lying.
I startled him by taking a running leap, and knocking him over. As I straddled his stomach, I pointed my finger at him accusingly. "You are lying to me, and I don't like it. Now tell the truth." I may have sounded like a petulant child, but it was tiring trying to be mature.
He smirked. "What happens if I don't tell you?" I narrowed my eyes again.
"Then we find out if you are ticklish." His eyes widened for a moment, and then resumed their natural look. "I'm not ticklish."
I chuckled. "Lets find out the truth, shall we?"
I started with the stomach. He laid there, obviously bored. I tried everything, and then I had an idea.
"Flip onto your stomach." He looked hesitant, so I quickly added, "Unless, of course, you are too chicken." He glared and quickly rolled over, laying his head down with a sigh.
I ran my finger lightly up and down his spine, trying to see if my hunch was correct. He shivered lightly, and then muttered something under his breath.
"What?" He shook his head.
I continued to trace his spine, smirking anytime he shivered or tensed. But then, I found our roles quickly reversed.
I was laying on my stomach, unable to see or move due to the heavy mass on my lower back. I felt my shirt being moved to the side, and that is when I began to struggle.
"What the jack do you think you're doing?" I yelled. "Get off of me!" I was scooting, bucking and even twisting. All in an attempt to dislodge him. Nothing worked.
"Relax." His voice was right next to my ear. I had shivered unintentionally at that motion. "I don't want to hurt you. But, you got to tickle me, and I feel it fair only to do the same to you."
I laid back and stopped struggling, placing my trust in him for a moment. He didn't move my tank top, luckily, and then started tracing something on my back. I giggled softly, trying to hold my laughter in.
That didn't stop him from hearing it, however. Within seconds, he started to wage war on my back, tracing and tickling my sides. I couldn't help it; Peals of laughter burst from my throat, stunning me with its pitch and its dynamics.
After a couple of minutes, he let up and I sat up, slowly.
"Well, that was interesting." I said, to no one in particular. He nodded in agreement, and I was struck by how much I could love him.
It wasn't the fact that he was almost exactly my type, though that was a big part of it. His playful mannerisms, his excellent manners, and even his grammar on occasion tripped me up. But, his jealous fits were becoming a problem, and I couldn't see myself with him unless they were to be fixed.
When I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, I saw him; stiff and avoiding eye contact with me. I gasped and held my hand up to my mouth. I said that out loud.
When he turned again to me, I saw his eyes were filled with unshed tears.
"I, uh, I am so sor..."
"Save it!" He snarled. "Obviously you wouldn't want to be near someone with jealous fits, such as I."
I cried out for him to stop, but he left anyway, leaving me to collapse crying, clutching to the blanket that I had gotten for him only a few hours ago.
