We have an hour until the Super Bowl kickoff. My father lets the team go up to the various seats, and the four of us head to our front row seats on the midfield line. I hold onto Jonathan's hand for dear life as we walk through the crowds in the stadium. After making it through, and back into the field, Jonathan leads me to the seats. Patrick and Kayla were lost in the crowd, but they show a few minutes later.

I look around from my seat at everyone around me. There are 70,000 people crowded into one building to watch four hours of a football game. "This is amazing", I tell Jonathan. He looks down at me. "You're amazing".

"Oh, I know", Jonathan boasts. He smiles. Wrapping his arm around my shoulders, he pulls me into his side. "I'd do anything to make you happy. I love it when you smile". I blush. I look down at my lap so I can hide my face.

"Hey", I hear whispered into my ear. "Don't hide your beautiful face from me. Making you blush brings me happiness because it shows me that I have an effect on you. It makes me fall for you just a little more".

Jonathan's hand grips my chin gently and turns my head towards him. "Now then. We are going to have awesome night, and the Bears are going to win this damn game".

The crowd starts a chant for the Bears, and we join in with them. The crowd of Chicago fans starts to sing the Bears Down, Chicago Bears song.

As we sing the last line of the song, the stadium goes dark, the only light is the score board hanging above the middle of the field. On the screen, the words, Da Bears light up the screen. The Bears fans scream as the Bears make their first appearance in front of us.

The four of us, Patrick, Kayla, Jonathan, and I stand up and start to cheer, the Bears coming out to start their warmups. The Patriots come out of the other side of the stadium, and their fans cheer for them.

"CJ", I hear yelled from next to me over the crowd noise. I turn to Kayla. "Come on. I want a drink".

Kayla drags me away from our seats and down to the concession stands. "I want a beer", she tells me.

We stand in the line for the beer, and it feels like the line is half a mile long. We talk about the upcoming game, and the fact that it's only taken 30 years for the Bears to get back to the Super Bowl. "Four beers please", Kayla asks the cashier when we move to the counter.

"IDs please", he asks.

Both of us take out our IDs and show him. He nods to us, then fills four plastic cups with beer, handing two to each of us. We walk back to our seats and the guys thank us for the beers.

Kickoff starts with the Pats kicking the ball across the field, and Jordan Howard starts at a run for the opposite side of the field. "He going for it. All the way", Kayla hits my shoulder. We stand from our seats and cheer him on as loud as we think we can.

Howard continues on down the field and through the Patriot's defensive line. He jumps over their line backer and continues to run down the field. The Pats turn suddenly and run for Howard, who's more than half way down the field.

"Touchdown", the crowd chants as he runs over the line, slowing himself down to stop. I turn to Jonathan and he picks me up in a hug Both of us, yelling and chanting for the Bears.

The half time comes, the Bears are winning 28-13. This year's half time performance is Meghan Trainor. The stage is set up quickly in the middle of the field, and Jonathan and Patrick decide to stay in their seats as we go down to the field.

"Your lips are movin', your lips are movin' and you lyin', lyin', lyin' babe".

"I think it's so cute, and I think it's so sweet, how you let your friends encourage you try to talk to me......My name is No, my number is No, my sign is No".

"Because you know I'm all about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble".

"I love it when it's loud, I love it when it's big. You can feel it in the crowd, come on bang dem sticks".

"I thank god everyday, that I woke up feelin' this way. And I can't help loving myself, and I don't need anyone else, nuh uh".

Meghan Trainor finishes her set on the stage, and it was one of the best concerts Kayla and I have been to. We make our way back to our seats. Patrick and Jonathan are in their seats when we return. The game starts again and we watch intently as the Patriots try to catch up on the score.

With four minutes left in the fourth quarter, The Bears and the Patriots are tied 31-31. Both kinds of fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for the end of the game to come. Jonathan and Patrick are extremely nervous, and I had never realized that they cared so much about the Bears, let alone football.

Thirty nine seconds left, Tom Brady throws the ball towards Gronkowski, and Jordan Howard catches it. He turns and runs for the opposite side of the field, more than 70 yards. Gronkowski chases after him, along with everybody else on the field.

Bears fans stand up from their seats, and we cheer for him to keep going. He runs as fast as what seems humanly possible. No one is able to catch him, and he keeps running. The clock counts down to seven, six, five, four.

"Touchdown, Bears", an announcer yells through out the stadium.

Everyone is ecstatic. Every one who's a Bears fan yells and screams, chanting and applauding.

I feel Jonathan grab my waist and spins me until I face him. He grabs the sides of my face, smiles at me for a moment, then leans down and gives me a rough kiss. "I love you, CJ".

"I love you".

He said it!
