Leah's POV
I stared at Dustin in complete and utter shock. Did he just say I was beautiful? I looked at my phone and looked at the song again, then back at Dustin until finally I got it. I ran back into the dressing room, taking the dress off and putting my clothes back on. I grab my bag and run out of the store, tears flowing down my face.
Once I find my way home I run to my room, losing the door, locking it and laying on my bed, finally letting all my built in emotions out. My anger, sadness, jealousy, everything. I eventually find myself falling into a very deep sleep.
Dustin's POV
I stare at Leah as she runs out of the store. I look at Kelly who glares at me. "You caused this! You're messing with her emotions like she's some doll. She is clearly in love with you. I hope you know that you're her first love, and you're treating her like this? You better think this through before you lose her because I know you have feelings for her Dustin Hoffman," she finishes and walks out the door without another word.
I go into the dressing room that Leah was in and grab the dress I made her try on and walk to the cashier, buying the dress and walking to my car. I made my way to her house as fast as I could. I fucked up big time and it's time I fix things before something bad happens.
I kept cursing at myself as I made my way to Leah's house, Kelly was right, I was falling for Leah. I rushed out of my car and knocked on her door, leaning against the door frame. When she opened it and saw me she tried to close it, but I put my hand on the door.
"What do you want," she asked, her voice cracked and scratchy from crying. Her eyes were a bright puffy red, and she was holding a box of tissues.
"Look, Leah. I'm so fucking sorry! Please try and forgive me." I started, but knowing that wasn't enough I sighed and held out the dress for her, "I want to take you to Elijah's party. As my date," I finished.
Leah looked at me and then the dress, then back at me before opening the door wider, letting me in. "Sit on the couch," she stated grabbing the dress out of my arm, "I'll get cleaned up and changed," she finished running up to her room.
Leah's POV
I was completely shocked to hear Dustin say he wants me to be his date to the party. From what I've heard he goes with Lisa, only to bang her in one of the spare bedrooms. I shook the thought out of my head and walked into my bathroom, looking at my face and sighing. I took my time washing it, and putting some light makeup on. I just put on a light layer of BB cream and some powder foundation. After that I applied some nude eye shadow, some eyeliner, mascara and some lip balm.
After getting into the dress I quickly straightened my hair and put a thin layer of hairspray onto it, praying it'll be enough to keep my hair in place. Finally I grabbed some black wedged heels, sliding them on, then I grabbed my favorite perfume and sprayed some on my wrist, neck and behind my ears. I took one last look in the mirror and made my way downstairs.
Dustin looked at me and smiled, "You look amazing," he whispered to me, making my cheeks turn a dark shade of magenta.
"Thank you," I said as I grabbed a black sweater, luckily it went with the dress. Dustin slipped his hand into mine and we made our way to his car. He opened the door for me and I got in, closing it behind me. He ran to his side of the car, getting in and starting the car.
I dug through his CD's and picked out a Sleeping With Sirens one, taking out the one already in the player and replacing it with the one I picked out. Dustin smiled as the CD played. I stared out the window, looking at the night sky and the moon.
We made it to Elijah's house and I got out of the car, waiting for Dustin before I walked to the front door I could already hear the music blasting inside. He opened the door and I glanced inside, every room looked to be crowded with people. There were people I knew and people I didn't know. I looked at Dustin nervously, but he smiled reassuringly at me and held my hand, squeezing it gently as we walked through the crowds of mostly drunken, dancing teens.
"It's time you have your first beer."

OMG HEY PEOPLES!
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in like five months. A lot has been going on with school, family drama, play practice. I just haven't had time to update, but i'm doing my 100% best. I'll try to update at least once every two weeks or so. I figured to do a Q and A with the characters ofthe story. So tell me who you're asking the question to and I'll make a chapter dedicated to the questions.
It's good to be back guys. I missed this book!
