"Get up, we gotta leave in ten minutes." Kyle told him, shaking him awake.

He rolled out bed, his head aching like crazy. It felt as if someone was pounding his brain, causing it to bounce around in his head. But he didn't want to bring it up and ruin Kyle's good mood.

Dan quickly got himself dressed and ate a piece of toast, before joining Kyle in the car.

They drove the car relatively quiet as Dan hummed along to the radio. He then got into the song, and sang along, watching as Kyle grinned.

"In a room where it's nine in the afternoon!" He sang-shouted and then Kyle joined, the both of them shouting along to the song.

"You're a great singer." Kyle giggled, Dan blushing like a mad man.

"I am not." He laughed, feeling his cheeks getting red and flushed. He hated when people complimented him. It made him uncomfortable as he didn't know what to say.

"You are, we aren't going to argue about this." Kyle said sternly, and continued to sing along quietly.

Once they arrived at the amusement park, Dan's stomach dropped. He could already feel the adrenaline rush that came with the coasters.

They first road the smaller, kiddy rides. Kyle claimed it was a warm up, but Dan knew how much he hated heights.

After a few smaller rides they got to the bigger ones. They road fast rides, tall rides, and everything in between.

"I'm going to be sick." Kyle complained, his legs weak from the ride.

"Don't pussy out on me." Dan laughed, punching his shoulder playfully.

He then took another bite of the corn dog, watching as Kyle looked with disapproval.

"You're gonna get sick." Kyle warned, pointing to the half eaten hotdog.

"I've got a steel stomach don't worry about me." He winked and took one more bite, and threw the stick into the trash.

The sun was beginning to set, the park's neon lights beginning to turn on.

"This way." Kyle grinned dragging Dan towards the Farris wheel.

Dan had always been too afraid to ride the big wheel. The thought of riding one had always made his knees weak with fear. When Dan was ten he waited in line for almost two hours to ride the Ferris wheel. And right before he was about to get on, the wheel stopped. And there it was, stuck for almost two hours. After that he swore to never ride one. But now, everything was different.

"We don't have to do this." Dan whined as he saw the line, wrapping around the park.

"This way." Kyle grinned, leading him last the line and up to the front.

"We can't cut all these people." Dan said, pointing to the angry faces behind him. He could hear the whines and cuss words being thrown at him from the people behind.

But then Kyle pulled out two tickets, handing them to the operator.

"This way." The operator told them, leading to the bottom cart. The two then stepped in, and the door closed.

The wheel then started, surprising the both of them.

"Shit." Dan mumbled, taking Kyle's hand and holding in tightly.

For the first minutes they were quiet, both of them looking at the city as it got smaller. But then they looked to each other, both having goofy grins wide on their faces.

"I love this." Dan grinned, unable to hide his excitement.

"Me too."

Dan then did something that surprised the both of them. He turned in the seat, and faced Kyle. He then pressed his lips up against Kyle's softly.

Kyle cupped his callused hands around Dan's cheek, his heart feeling as if it would explode any second.

He then brought his hands up to Dan's wild mess of hair, running his fingers through it.

Once they pulled away the two of them were blushing like mad men, both refusing to look the other in the eye.

"I'm sorry." Dan was the first to speak, wanting to throw himself off the wheel with embarrassment. He had just fucked everything up. The nineteen years of friendship would all be down the drain. Now Kyle would see how Dan really felt, and would probably think of him differently.

The both of them both knew the other were bisexual. Kyle had had many partners, some girls and some guys. Where as Dan had for the most part always been single, but liked both. They didn't care what gender, they liked everything.

But Dan's fears suddenly vanished.

"Don't be." Kyle grinned, taking Dan's hand in his once more.

In that moment if Dan had died, he would have been perfectly fine with it.
