"You feeling alright love?" Kyle asked him, rubbing his back softly as he hunched over the toilet. He had been throwing up since three am, nothing left in his stomach at this point. But he continued hunched over the toilet throwing up bile, causing his chest to ache.

"Yeah." He sighed, wiping his mouth with toilet paper.

"Go to school." Dan groaned, not wanting to be the cause of Kyle's failing grades.

"Haven't been in months. I'm taking online courses. Don't worry about me." He grinned, getting a washcloth and then wetting it with warm water. Kyle then carefully wiped off Dan's mouth.

Dan stood up, steadying himself on the counter. He felt better, no longer nauseous like he had.

"Do you want me to run you to the doctor?" Kyle worried, but Dan shook his head. He knew it was just another shitty side effect.

"Can we just chill?" Dan asked, still not feeling great. All he wanted to do was lay in a dark room, his body close to Kyle's.

"Of course." Kyle grinned, his eyes lighting up like a kid on Christmas. "Stay here."

A few minutes later Kyle came back, and led Dan to the living room, which now was unrecognizable. Thrown from every surface were blankets and comforters. On the ground was Dan's mattress and pillows. It looked like what he and Kyle used to make in the living room of Kyle's house. He and Kyle would hide in their makeshift tent for hours, believing nobody could find them.

"Oh my god." Dan smiled, looking around his once bleak house.

"I love you!" He shouted, surprising the both of them.

"I love you too Dan." Kyle smiled.

The two then crawled into the tent. In the middle was his mattress along with Christmas lights he didn't know he owned, his tv in the center.

Laying on the ground were some movies the two used to love. Among them were Pulp Fiction, Weird Science, Jurassic Park, and Dan's all time favorite Mulholland Drive. As kids those four films were always go to's.

The two then watched the movies, only occasionally talking. But it was comfortable. There was no awkwardness between the two.

Kyle only got up to make Dan toast, and to use the bathroom. The two absentmindedly got close and closer until they were practically on top of the other, their bodies close.

Dan's head rested comfortably on Kyle's chest, his emotions going crazy. He had dreamed of this for years now, and it had finally come.

"How you feeling?" Kyle asked, looking down at him.

He wanted to answer good, but Dan really didn't feel good. Despite the wonderful fort Kyle had made, dan still felt trapped. He felt almost like he was a prisoner, his house acting at the four walks of a cell. When he looked outside he had no view, all he could see were the clouds passing by, the side effects too much.

"Not too great, my heads really hurting, but besides that I'm all good." He said smiling softly.

The movie was now playing quietly in the background, the boys reminiscing on their past. They talked about the good times like when they traveled together and they talked about the bad times like when Kyle moved schools.

Both Kyle and Dan loved the other. They loved each other so much, that the thought of being away from the other made both feel physically sick.

"Kyle." Dan asked, his voice rough from sleep.

"Uh huh?" Kyle mumbled, still half asleep. It was nearly four in the morning.

"Thank you."
