My Restriction

Tomika PoV

It's been about a week since I haven't been able to talk and I'm trying I really am but my voice won't come back but if I try to hard I could lose it permanently. I getting so annoyed with myself because I know I can do it it's just my bodies not ready for it yet so I have to stay calm. I've been having doctors appointments twice a day every day and they say nothing so helping. Oh well I'm going to keep trying one thing that's come out of this is I'm very good at drawing my feelings. Here's one

I hate being in here and at least today I'm allowed visitors.
I can't wait to see the band.

Summer PoV
I feel so sad for Tomika because she was just getting better. I know she's trying but that will only last a certain amount of time before she gives up. We all need to keep her trying.

Zack PoV
I know Tomika will be ok this morning me and summer and Lawrence and Freddie all picked up some items for her. We got her a mini whiteboards so she can write down what she wants to say. We also got her some artists pencils cause her foster parents says she's really into drawing now.

Freddie PoV
I feel so bad for Tomika she's really trying I know she is she just needs time and the doctors are putting pressure on her to push herself and of she does that she'll burn herself out and give up. She needs to take her time. She's got this I know. I bought her this poster for her hospital room so she's always trying.

F: hey T
T: *waves*
S: you alright
T: nods head
F: ok

A couple minutes later

I'm trying to talk to Tomika and the rest of the band is but she's not responding no hand actions she won't write on the whiteboards. She just sat there drawing. The doctor says we have to let her do what makes her comfortable but I don't think she know what's happening.

Tomika PoV
I know exactly what everybody is saying I can clearly hear them but I don't want to listen it's the same things over and over again. They all say, you'll be ok. Your so strong and stuff like that I'm sick of listening to it I've learned to zone out of what they are saying to me. So I'm sat there drawing this

Then Freddie comes and sits next to me.
F: that's real good T
I just look at him and continue drawing.
F: do you want some froyo
T: I nod
F: ok but you need to smile
T: I smile a little bit
F: more please *pulls funny face*
T: I laugh silently
F: that will do i suppose *kisses her on cheek*
I feel like Freddie has been so good with me so before he leaves I kiss him on the cheek so he knows I'm sorry and I love him.
