Shot Through The Heart

I see him and then he shoots at me. This stranger I didn't do anything to wants to kill me! Why? I have so many questions. Who is he? Why did he shoot me?  Before I know it I am having a dream. A very horrible dream about my twin sister coming home finally and she had a misscarige. Before anything else happens I wake up to these really bright lights. I am hit with a wave of pain and there are a bunch of people around me calling my name but I don't have the energy to answer. So I just stare and breath trying to speak but nothing coming out so it probably making me look like I am having trouble breathing. I close my eyes because I now don't have the energy to keep them open. Then I hear Liam scream; he screams like I have never heard before it was loud and had a very worried tone and you can hear he is crying. I try to move but get a tingly feel and close my eyes again.

Liams P.O.V

I am waiting at the house for Sage to return. She doesn't know that I have roses in a heart shape and want her to have her to finally do it with me. We have been dating for two years I think we loose our virginity together she nor I have ever done it so it will be awkward but hoping to make it not so awkward if you understand what I am saying. As the time arrives I get really nervous and decide to scratch the idea and wait for the time that is right so as I am putting away the roses I get a phone call from a number I do not recognize.

"Hello" I ask I get no answer for a little bit.

"Hello is this Liam North"

"Yes it is who am I speaking to?"

"This is the hospital calling you were a emergency contact in Sage Magestro phone." She put me as her emergency that is so cute I think to myself.  But wait why is the hospital calling me!

"Why are you calling me is everything ok?"

"I am sorry to inform you Liam North but Sage was shot in the super market this afternoon may I ask for medical reasons how are you related?" 

"She is my girlfriend I am coming right now!" Is she ok I wonder the whole drive; I pray the whole ride she is ok and that everything will be fine like we had planned. I get there and she looks like she is already dead. Her skin is as pale as can be, it is so you can see her veins, she is lifeless and he eyes are closed and she is shaking you can tell she is trying to move her mouth keeps barely opening. I get a flood of tears rushing out of me and a panic also a lot of anger at whoever did this. They will pay. I think to myself and that is my mission now. I run to her but the doctors push me out of the way because the said her wound is infected and might infect me. I don't care and decide to push them aside and kneel by her side I brush her hair out of her face  and give her a kiss on the forehead. Even looking lifeless she is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. I look down to her arm and it has blood all over it she was shot more than once four times to be exact. She is perfect why didn't I go with her this is all my fault. I just sit there and cry till the doctors tell me to move they are taking her to the hospital. I follow her but the doctors are taking her into surgery I am not allowed in there I sit outside till a doctor comes out to me it is now twelve at night. 

"Sage is in a coma it is from a mixture of shock and blood loss I am sorry." No this can't be happening why was I to stupid to go with her? Why didn't I go why did she have to go?!

Thank You for reading I am so sorry I have not posted in a while I have been busy since it was Thanksgiving break I was cooking and hanging with my family. I will post more chapter I promise thank you for staying even though I don't post on time a lot.
