"No! I swear I have been taking them!!!" My voice cracked in a nervous shout.
"You should be out by now! Dan already sent in another order for a refill and you still have half a bottle left!" Sister Liza's voice echoed in the room.
" They make me foggy and bloated and I hate it!!!"
She shook her head and sighed, " Now I am going to ask you two questions and I need you to answer me honestly... Have you been taking your pills?"
"No." I looked down into my lap with shame.
"Have the dreams been coming back?"
Keeping my gaze steady in my lap I nodded. "Now you believe me?"
"Well, I am not quite sure where I stand on the issue, but I figure I should give you a fair chance to be honest and to get help."
I sat silent until she left the room.
