A/N - So I spent three hours on the artwork for this stupid chapter. I was up until 2:00 AM finishing it before I passed out. *Bangs head on table* And I had to do it with a mouse, since I don't have a touch screen! Anyway, enjoy this newest chapter!

(Lol I'll do it in the morning, I accidentally published it but... IT'S 3 AM SO I'LL DO IT TOMORROW!)

(I thought it deleted half of it at first and I raged for two minutes before reloading the page and finding out that it did. >.<* Wattpad is confusing sometimes.

|Connie's POV|

I stared at the three new gems, my eyes wide and my mouth hanging slightly open. I closed my mouth and stared at Steven intensely while he explained, slightly hurt that he had not told me he was going to do this. I nodded when he was finished explaining his reasoning behind it.

Lapis walked up to Jade and they started talking to each other. Peridot and Jasper glared at each other from across the room and Bismuth walked up to me to talk.

"What? Are we accepting humans as Crystal Gems now?" she commented to Steven, and I felt my face grow hot.

Steven defended me, "She's been trained in the art of the sword by Pearl herself, she is competent." he said firmly.

Bismuth nodded and asked me, "How old are you?"

 "Sixteen" I answered stiffly.

"Who made you a Crystal Gem?" Bismuth asked.

"Well, I was an unofficial member for years, but I was made an official Crystal Gem by Steven a few hours ago." I answered, eyeing her.

Bismuth glanced at Steven, then at me, a grin spreading over her face. "I see what's going on here." she said teasingly.

Steven and I glanced at each other, blushing furiously. "W-what do you mean?" Steven asked, stuttering.

"You're in love." Bismuth stated, grinning. "And you must love him very much to stay behind and fight this war." she complimented.

I blushed. "Thank you. I'm Connie, by the way."

Bismuth smiled and held out her hand for me to shake. "As you know, I am Bismuth, pleasure to meet you."

|Steven's POV|

I glanced around to see the Peridot had joined Lapis' and Jade's conversation. Jasper was still standing alone, her face shaded. I scratched the back of my neck and walked up to her. "Why don't you talk to Bismuth?" I asked her.

Jasper glanced up at me, her eyes cold. "She is one of the only gems to have poofed me." Jasper grunted.

I looked at her. "Forgive and forget..." I murmured to her, and we looked at Bismuth together. I looked up at Jasper. "I'm trying to forgive and forget everything Peridot, Bismuth and you have done to me. You can do the same with all of us. I know you can." I placed my hand on her forearm for a moment before walking away to join Lapis, Jade and Peridot.

They were talking about the old Homeworld, before the war, so I couldn't relate. I left them and climbed on top of the end table in the Living Room. "Okay, listen up, Crystal Gems!" I said loudly over the gems.
