A/N - Yes I drew the picture above. I had to research Jasper's design though, so I did and I redrew her while looking at the picture. Anyway, in this chapter, these two are going to go into a full out battle! Read to see how this happens! (Battle Suggested By CrystalGems_FNAF)

Connie's POV

I did a double take at Steven when he led the gem onto the section of the beach we were training on. Peridot stopped and looked over her shoulder to see what I was staring at. The piece of metal she was holding up, using her Metal Manipulation, and stared at the gem.

Jasper, Bismuth, Lapis and Jade stopped as well. Steven looked uncomfortable with everyone staring at him and the blue gem. He cleared his throat. "Hey, guys. This is Zirconia. I found her gem on the beach and she tells me she was a orignial member of the Crystal Gems."

I nodded and went to Zirconoia to welcome her, but Jasper had other plans. She overtook me and stood in front of the gem, staring her down. Zirconia's eyes widened, then narrowed at Jasper. "Jasper."

"Zirconia." Jasper snarled. Her voice was full of menace and I looked between them, confused. Did these two gems know each other?

Zirconia glared at Jasper and snarled back, "What are you doing here, you traitor?"

"None of your business, deserter." Jasper's gem glowed and her weapon appeared, obscuring her face. Zirconia's gem glowed as well, and a pair of nun chucks appeared in her hands. The air filled with tension as the two faced off.

Steven back up, his face a mask of confusion and fear. "Uh, guys?" he piped up.

They ignored him and ran at each other, beginning the fight...

They were a blur of motion and destroyed everything in their paths. Jade jumped out of their way with a shout of alarm and Lapis shot into the sky on her water wings. The gems gathered together on the beach, and watched Jasper and Zirconia fight.

"This battle is too intense for us to stop it." Commented Jade.

"Yes, but we should try." Steven said, his eyes narrowing. "Lapis, see if you can pull them apart with your water."

We all watched as Lapis nodded and rose into the sky again. I sucked in a breath as she rose her hands and lunged towards where Jasper and Zirconia were fighting. Water washed over them but it did no good. Lapis shrugged helplessly at us.

Steven looked annoyed at Jasper and Zirconia before turning to me. "Let's fuse and try to stop them." he held out his hand towards me.

Steven's POV

Connie's hand slipped into mine and time seemed to slow down around us as we danced. I dipped her and gave her a peck on the lips and, we fused into Stevonnie.

Stevonnie's POV

I waited for Steven and Connie to come up with a plan, watching Zirconia and Jasper's fight go on with an intense gaze.

Connie: Okay, so how are we going to stop them?

Steven: I have a plan. We get out our shield, and block them from going further. Then we get the others to split them and hold them apart.

Connie: Sounds good.

Steven: Okay, let's do it.

I quickly ran towards the battling gems and expanded my shield. It blocked and stopped them from moving farther. I waved Peridot, Jade and Lapis over and the held the two writhing gems apart.

I glared down at them. "Why are you two fighting? We are in the middle of a war, and we can't have gems, new or old, turning on each other!" I snarled at them.

Zirconia's head lowered a tiny bit, she was abashed. Jasper glared at me and snarled, "This gem used to be a part of the Crystal Gems, before she left them, believing that they would lose the war."

Zirconia snorted. "You aren't much better. You were a part of the Crystal Gems, before you went and joined Homeworld."

We all stared at them in shock. Shock coursed through me so strong, that I had to unfuse...

Steven's POV

 "What?!" I yelled at them.

Jasper looked at me. "I'm sorry for betraying the Crystal Gems then, but I'm a part of them now, and I'm trying to make up for it." She lowered her head, waiting for judgement.

I stared at her, the fire in my eyes dying out. I sighed. Forgive and forget... I walked up to Jasper and put a hand on her shoulder. "This is your chance to redeem yourself. I won't give you another one." I said gently, but firmly.

Jasper nodded and whispered, "Thank you."

I turned back to Zirconia. "You're welcome to stay here and become a Crystal Gem again, as long as you don't attack anyone here." He said to her.

Zirconia looked up at me and shrugged. "Okay, fine. Just keep her away from me."

I nodded, sighing. I signaled the other gems to let them go and Jasper and Zirconia stood, dusting themselves off and still glaring at each other a bit.

I rubbed the back of my head. "I think we should move to the barn soon." I said.

Everyone looked at me. "Why?" asked Peridot.

I motioned to the gems surrounding me. "Do you honestly think, that all these gems, are going to fit inside the temple?"

Peridot looked up at Lapis, who shrugged. "Okay, you can come to the barn. Just don't touch our Meep Morps." Lapis said.

Steven nodded. "Is it okay if we move them, so we can set up a suitable living space?"

Lapis nodded. "As long as you don't break them."

Connie's POV

I quickly packed up all my things from the temple while Steven packed his. Jasper, Jade, Peridot, Lapis, and Bismuth all stood waiting outside. (Omg I completely forgot about Bismuth for a while, sorry!)

Steven and I packed our things in silence. When I was done, I slung my back-pack over my shoulder and waited for Steven to finish up. When he did, he sat on the bed and sighed, looking around at the place that had been his home for such a long time.

"I don't want to leave." He whispered.

I sat on the bed beside him, and leaned my head against his shoulder. "But, it's like you said, the rest of the gems could never fit in the temple. But the real problem is Zirconia and Jasper's... differences."

Steven sighed again. "I know, we have to help them work past it." he placed his hand over mine and we both stayed like that for a moment, enjoying the moment of peace in the hurricane that had become their lives...

A/N - Okie dokie, how was it? It took me an hour to write this, plus two more to work on that piece of art above. Again, credit to @CrystalGems_FNAF for suggesting the battle scene! Will Zirconia and Jasper get along? Find out in the next chapter! (Coming out 11/26/15)
