Hey, everyone! This chapter was written half by Sa55girl and half by me!

Steven's POV

I could see the Roaming Eye land near the Temple. My first reaction was to run to it, but Connie held me back. "There might be other gems with them," she cautioned, "Other gems that Don't like the Crystal Gems?"

I stopped in my tracks, realizing she was right. There could be anybody on the ship. Other Ruby guards, Jaspers, maybe even a Diamond, ready to eliminate the Crystal Gems once and for all. Best to stay back until they saw who stepped out of the ship.

"You're right." I complied, watching the door open slowly. Out stepped an unfamiliar green gem, and Amethyst. I stared down at the two of them. The other gem appeared male, which was odd for gems. Every other one was identifiable as female. I shrugged and moved on. No one else stepped out of the ship. I paused, unsure of how to proceed. There was no Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, or... Garnet.

I had to go down there, I didn't have a choice. Pearl and Garnet weren't there and I had to know why. It wasn't a decision.

When I got to the bottom of the hill, I stopped, frozen. I paused momentarily, and Amethyst stared at the new gem. Her comedic personality seemed stalled for the time being. A moment of complete silence. No one spoke. Connie caught up to me and stopped beside us, sensing the tension. "Hi! I'm Steven!" The gem turned to me, surprised by my enthusiasm.

"I'm... Fluorite."

Amethyst's POV

It's okay! It's okay! Fluorite was friendly to Steven, it seemed, and Connie as well. That was good. Everything was good. Well, not everything, yet.

Steven ran up to me and hugged me, exclaiming, "How did you get-" He froze and looked over my shoulder at all the Amethysts and Jaspers.

Skinny grinned. "Hello to you too."

Steven whispered to me, keeping his eyes on the former Human Zoo guards, "Are they on our side?"

I laughed. "Of course! There are 153 of them, it turned out. We left about thirty back at the Zoo to take care of things with Holly Blue Agate, who, by the way, is still a prick."

Steven grinned in relief and walked up to the new Crystal Army, regarding them in silence for a moment before smiling. "Hello, new friends, please listen to me! Thanks for taking this risk to come to fight alongside us." He paused to think for a moment before smiling again. "You'll be taking your orders from Jasper, who is our new general."

Connie glanced up from where she was talking to Carnelian before walking over to me and whispering, "Is that such a good idea? She was a Homeworld gem until recently."

"That's the very best reason! She knows their tactics and battle formations. She knows everything about them, she's perfect for the job."

Steven's POV

I turned to Jasper and smiled at her. "Are you ready to be the general of the-" I was cut off by her picking me up and hugging me. I let out a puff of air as she basically squished me.

Jasper put me down when she realized she was almost suffocating me. "Thank you so much! I've always wanted to control an army." She turned to the new Crystal Gems and studied them. "I'll need a second in command though." she muttered.

Jasper raised her voice. "Who among you is the smartest and who knows a lot about Homeworld and tactics?"

The gems looked at each other before they all slowly looked at one gem. The gem was a Tigers Eye gem. The only one in sight. She was almost as tall as Jasper with dark brown locks of hair, pale brown skin that had darker stripes on it and brown-amber eyes.

She looked up when she noticed all eyes were on her. Her gaze met Jasper's and she blushed a tiny bit before saluting. "W-whatever you need me for, Jasper."

"You'll be in charge of planning the army's attacks. Can you handle that?" Jasper asked.

Tigers Eye looked starstruck for a moment before saluting again and in a voice that barely contained her excitement she said, "Y-yes of course!"

I smiled and turned to the rest of the new gems. "Okay, everyone! Sort out yourselves by your gem type and gather in one place."

Soon Amethyst, Jasper, Carnelians, Topaz, Turquoise, and Spinel gems were in one place. Amethysts were the most common.

There were 48 Amethyst gems, 19 Jaspers, 4 Carnelians, 34 Topaz, 10 Turquoise, 37 Spinel and the one Tigers Eye, (Her gem was on her chest) who said we should call her Tiger. ={^.^}=

I, with the help of Jasper, organized them so that there were 4 battalions with 38 gems in them each. I, along with Jasper, Bismuth, and Amethyst were at the head of these and we started to train them so that they would be ready for combat, when the time came...

Amethyst's POV

I slipped the bubbled pink rose quartz gem into a secret place in the barn where no one would find it. I stared at it for a moment before wiping a forming tear from my eye and walking back to Steven.

Pearl's POV

I glared up at Yellow Diamond as she glared down at me. "You, a lousy Pearl, a common Ruby, and a Sapphire that has gone awry have strayed from Homeworld and disrupted the peace that used to be." Yellow Diamond clenched her fists. She muttered, "White won't let me shatter you, so you will all be isolated and contained in a maxim security prison."

Yellow Diamond's cold yellow eyes that I always used to hate seeing, serving under my old master, looked hard as ice as she glared at me, Sapphire and Ruby.

I mustered up my courage and screamed, "You can't keep us here forever! Our friends will come for us!"

Yellow Diamond smirked evilly. "That is exactly what I'm counting on." with that, the Fluorite soldiers dragged me, Sapphire and Ruby away. And we kept the knowledge that Steven and the Crystal Gems would almost surely perish if they came to rescue us.

A lone tear leaked down my face and splattered to the ground. Steven...

So, there you have it! Another chapter. How was it?
