Chapter Sixteen: (Part One) Magic Dance Ball

Hi, sorry for the wait, for this chapter. I struggled to write this chapter and it sent me crazy.

This chapter is revolving around the 'Magic Dance Ball' in ep 125. Its not going to be exactly the same, I am changing it to fit my story line. I feel like a right bitch but I'm doing this chapter in two parts. Its a long chap and I wanted to get some of it updated so I'm giving you half now and half later. Anywho, enjoy!

~The Idiot Ninja

You paced up and down the living room of Lucy's apartment. It was roughly the middle of the night. Lucy had left earlier on, telling you she was going on a job with Natsu and Happy and that she wouldn't be back till tomorrow.

"(Nickname) why you still up?" You heard Lily mumble groggily.

You turned to see the worn out Exceed sat up in Lucy's bed, rubbing her eyes carefully.

"Can't sleep." You answered her simply, standing in the dark.

"You should try again, you get crabby if you don't sleep." She smiled, earning a smirk from yourself.

You shuffled over to the sofa and collapsed down onto it, pulling the soft teal blanket over you.

"Happy?" You asked her.

She murmured a yea before the sounds of her soft snores filled the room. Once you were sure that she was fast asleep, you got back up and continued your pacing.

Before you knew it, the sun was rising and the streets outside the window began to fill with the murmurs of passing people. Lily sprang up off of Lucy's bed as you slumped down, eyes heavy, half asleep. She noticed your tired face and cuddled up next to you.

Your eyes closed for was felt like a second until the front door flung open, causing you to open your eyes in shock.

"Wha?" You managed tiredly.

"(Male name), guess what?" You heard Lucy's voice say.

Yuo felt the presence of four more people other than her. You then saw Erza, Natsu, Happy and gray behind her, walking into her home.

"What?" You muttered, rubbing your groggy eyes.

"We're going to a ball. We got a job and we have to go to the ball to complete it." Lucy sang hyperactively.

"And it means you too." Erza told you.

Whines escaped your mouth, it was something you really didn't want to do. You slumped your head and closed your eyes, hoping that this was all just a dream and that you were still fast asleep.

"Pinch me Lil." You muttered, just loud enough for the small Exceed to hear.

She slowly and carefully pinched your forearm. It stung. Lucy giggled lightly as you winced.

~A Few Hours Later~

You, Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Elfman, Wendy, Warren, Happy and Carla arrived at the clients home. It was large and extremely grand. You were greeted by the clients daughter.

She was a young girl who had long, chestnut-coloured hair which reached her mid-back, with short bangs n the front. Her eyes were large and pink. She was wearing a pink dress.

She introduced herself as Aceto. She shows you all in, leading you to a neat little room with soft sofas and few coffee tables. You all took a seat. Across from the sofa you was sat on, Aceto sat down with a small man sat on her lap.

The man was of small stature with brown hair parted in the middle, ending in curls. Some of his hair was tied up in a ponytail that leaned towards the left. He had bushy brown eyebrows and a pointed beard. He also had a pair of large nostrils and a puckered mouth, making him look like he had waten something sour. He wore a long-sleeved purple shirt and a white and green bib around his neck. He also wore a pair of baggy pants, striped violet and white with a pair of pointed shoes for footwear.

While you was sat with them, the man told you his name was Count Balsamico, and that the purpose of the ball he was hosting, was to pick Aceto's future husband.

"Our family heirloom is a ring, I only bring it out once every seven years. Now, I suspect that Velveno wants to steal this ring. He can be very dangerous, he uses Transformation Magic and Magic Drain, this allows his to copy the Magic of any opponent." Balsamico told you.

"We understand, we will do what we can to catch this criminal." Erza said sternly.

~Mini Time Skip~

Wensy, Erza and Lucy had left you, Gray, Natsu and Elfman to go get changed. Warren had disappeared to go set up. You hopped behind one of the velvet curtains with an outfit Mirajane had gotten you. Cautiously, you began to get changed. You didn't want the same incident to happen with Mirajane to reoccur. In next to no time, you were changed. You were now wearing a pair of plain black trousers and a simple, oversized white shirt. As soon as you were done, you sprung from the changing area, diving straight into the arms of Gray.

"Woah.Hold your horses. You was quick." He said, coolly.

He raised an eyebrow at your shirt, you had left it untucked. He grabbed you by your waist, pulling you closer, too close for comfort. He began to shove your shirt into your pants. To do this he had to kneel down on one knee. You felt a blush creep on your face. As he was shoving your shirt into the back, he shoved his cheek up against your chest. As he finished, he pulled away. Confusion took over his face.

"(Male name)....you have boobs?" Gray asked you carefully.

Your mouth dropped open, eyes wide with shock.

'What am I going to tell him?' You asked yourself mentally.
