Chapter Seventeen: Box Of Tissues

I'm so so so so soooo sorry. Please forgive me. I didn't mean to make you wait this long, I feel so mean o.o Also I apologise for any major mistakes, I have limited internet so I've had to go off of my memory which isn't the best o.o Thankfully I don't have writers block so writing the next chapter should not take as long as this one did.

"ATCHOO!" You sneezed loudly into a simple white tissue.

You tugged on the large duvet Lucy had given you from her bed. You regretted sitting outside where the ball was held, you had caught a cold and felt awful.

"(Female name) I'm heading to the guild, now, you sure you're gonna be ok?" She asked you, hesitantly making her way out of the door.

"I'll be fine. I'm just going to stay Sat on the sofa today, I should be feeling better by tomorrow." You answered her.

Within a few seconds, she had left, leaving you alone. Lily would have been with you but she was spending time with Carla, Happy and Pantherlily. You lay down, slowly closing your eyes, allowing yourself to fall asleep. You hadn't been asleep long before you were abruptly awoken. The door flung open revealing:

Natsu:

"Hey, Lucy told me you caught a cold so I came to check how you were doing." Natsu explained.

"I'm fine." You answered simply, feeling an awkward silence about to arise.

"Listen, (Female name), I have a slight confession..." He began, smiling cheeking while a light blush arose on his cheeks.

You looked at him, confused, coaxing him to go on.

"Well, you know when we were sat outside the guild after you ran out after Mira? I almost kissed you." He said.

You cut him off with a "I guessed that."

"Well now your a girl, it's not so complicated." He laughed slightly.

"I was never not a girl. I just didn't dress as one." You snapped, feeling rather offended.

He laughed at you, causing you to blush lightly. He lent down, about to peck you on your cheek but he stopped himself as you began to show that you were about to sneeze. Your tissue seemed to have disappeared. You felt as if it was too late as you frantically searched for a tissue. A box was nudged into your nose. You looked up to see Natsu offering you a tissue from the box in his hand. You took one and caught the tickle in the back of your nose if the soft cloth. As you looked back up to thank him, he was gone.

Gray:

Your eyes connected, boring into each other. The silence began to get awkward. You searched around you for a tissue, not once breaking eye contact. Unfortunately it had fell on the floor, so you stretched out for the blue box of them on the table in front of you. Just as you were about to grasp hold of the box, it was snatched away by Gray.

"Hey, give me that!" You demanded, reaching up for them.

"No. So, kid, why did ya keep it to yourself." He asked you, taking a tissue and waving it in front of your face,

"Don't call me kid!" You snapped, "It's nothing to do with you anyway!"

He stared at you, eyes widened with a slight smirk on his face. You clambered off of the sofa you was laying on and stood up straight, swaying from left to right slightly.

"Just give me the goddamn tissues. I will kick your ass!" You warned.

"Hmm, only if you answer something." He told you, smirking deviously.
