Chapter Fourteen: Forgive Me

You made your way back to the guild, you wanted to thank Mirajane for the Jewels. You walked rather quickly. It was still rather bright outside, people were swarming the streets making it rather difficult to get there quickly. But soon enough you were there. You slowly walked in, a happy atmosphere inside, welcoming you warmly.

There was a lot of people there. From a quick glance you saw Natsu, Gray, Erza, Max, Elfman, Lisanna, Juvia, Wendy, Gajeel, Cana, Levy, Mirajane and some others you couldn't remember the names of.

You rushed over to the bar where Mirajane was and smiled at her warmly, which she returned.

"Nice to see you again (male name)." She welcomed.

"And you. I'm here to thank you, about the Jewels. You saved me, Lucy and Lily." You grinned, hugging her over the bar.

She hugged you back, giggling at your sudden actions. As you let go you turned to where Natsu's big gob was going off. Then all you saw was a glass of liquid fly towards you. Before you had chance to move the glass collided with your head. Luckily it did not smash, unluckily the liquid from the inside was now all over you. As you stood up, preparing to throw some sort of attack at Natsu, a huge heavy towel was thrown over you. You almost fell to the floor from the shock of it. Before you had chance to move you was being pulled away by who ever threw the towel.

"Let me out!" You whined, trying to pull the towel from your head.

You heard two giggles, one you recognized as Mirajane the other you had no clue, it was very similar to Mirajane though. The towel was them lifted off of you, allowing you to see the other person.

"Hmm, still not dry. I think you may need another set of clothes, just for now." Lisanna spoke, staring at your Celestial clothing.

"I agree. I'll go get some, I'll be right back." Mirajane sang, walking out of the small room they had dragged you into.

Lisanna watched her older sister leave, and when she was sure she was gone she turned to you eagerly.

"She likes you, you know." She told you.

"She what?" You asked, shocked as you choked on air.

"Yup, she liiiiikes you. I can tell. Believe me." She continued.

Your eyes were wide in shock as Mirajane came back with a pile of clothing in her arms.

"Here you go (male name). We'll wait out there for you. Jst give us a shout when you're finished and I'll take your clothes to dry them out." She smiled, guiding her younger sister out as well as herself.

You were still rather shocked about what Lisanna said. You slowly began to get changed. You took off your baggy pair of blue trousers, replacing them with a pair of shorts with the Fairy Tail Insignia on the backside pocket. You then took off the oversized blue vest, leaving you in your poorly wrapped bindings.

You was about to put on the white t-shirt which too had the Fairy Tail Insignia on but you dropped it as Mirajane and Lisanna burst in asking you if you were ready. Their faces dropped like a carton of meatballs. You moved to cover yourself, hoping that they didn't see anything, which they obviously did.

"Erm I can explain!" You said loudly.

Lisanna giggled and stared at Mirajane who walked out quickly, covering her face, hiding it from anyone who looked. You quickly shoved on the T-shirt and followed after her. You pushed through the crowd of people to follow her. Everyone looked at you confused as you followed her out.

When you got out side, you saw Mirajane leaning against the wall, staring down at the floor.

"Miajane? Are you ok?" You asked her, shuffling closer to her slowly.

"You're a girl?" Mirajane asked you simply.

"Yea..but I have my reasons." You said quickly.

"What are these reasons?" She asked you.

"I'm sorry, it's private." You told her, looking down at the floor.

"Do you know how many girls in there like you?" She asked you, with a rather harsh tone.

You'd never heard Mirajane talk this way to anyone, it actually kinda scared you.

"I-I don't." You said simply.

"Well a lot do." She said, you saw a small tear slowly slid down her cheek.

She looked down, not wanting to face you. You stepped forward and caught the tear in your hand as it fell from her face. Her head snapped up to you, confused at your actions.

"I didn't mean for them to like me. I didn't want to hurt anyone." You told her, knowing that you were also about to cry.

"Promise me something." She asked you in a small voice.

"What? What do you want me to promise?" You asked her, hoping that by promising what she wants that she will forgive you.

"Promise me that you will tell them, before they say something so you don't hurt them." She asked you.

"I promise." You replied, after not much time of thinking.

"Good." She said simply, wiping the salty tasting water from her eyes, drying them as if she never shed a tear, before she waltzed back inside.

Mirajane:

I can't believe it. (Male name) is a girl! I do admit I am rather upset about it, I did like him...kinda, but now at least I know why he, I mean she acted a little weird when I first met her. She wasn't like most boys, it makes you realize something is not right.

Lianna:

Well that was a shocker. I would of never have guessed that (male name) was a girl all along. I remember when Mira came to me, telling me that she thought he was kinda cute. I teased her about it a lot. I wonder is (male name) will tell everyone...or just let them find out on their own. Hmmm.

You, stayed outside. Looking up at the sky, you began to think.

'What will they think if I just tell them all? Should I tell them individually? What should I do? Maybe I should wait till after I do that spell?'

It scared you to think that you have to tell them, what if word spread outside the guild and Orlov found out. Well, it may just have to be a risk you had to take.

Out of fustration, you pulled your head forward and slammed it backwards on to the guild wall.

"Oww." You whined in pain as you crouched down clutching your head.

"(Male name).." You heard the voice of Natsu say, as he stood over you after coming from the guild building.

Just as you was about to look up at him he held his hand firmly on you head. He slowly began to rub the area you had hurt on the wall. It began to feel warm, it was soothing. You guessed it was rather due to his abnormal warmness or magic. The pain seemed to go, slowly.

"Better?" He asked, smiling.

"Yep." You said simply.

"Why were you hitting your head so hard?" He asked.

"Frustration." You chuckled.

"About?" He edged.

"Nothing. I'm not telling you. I'm still mad at you for losing Lily." You huffed, turning away from him.

"Hehe, sorry about that." He apologized, laughing nervously while scratching the back of his head.

"You best be." You threatened.

You pouted dramatically, causing you both to break into laughter. As the laughter between you both died down and you both slipped into an awkward atmosphere, Natsu glanced round and noticed you staring right back. He stared, mesmerized by your (e/colour) eyes.

"(Male name)...Hold still." He told you as he held your face in his hand, pulling you closer to his own, ever so lightly you felt the touch of his lips on yours until he abruptly pulled away as Erza burst out of the guild demanding for you.

He quickly stood up and walked back into the guild, you saw his face, he lightly smiled at you before disappearing inside the building. You fought against the blush rising on your face as Erza stole your view.

"Somethings going on. I know it. I saw the look on Mirajanes face and she didn't look too happy." Erza said, demanding an answer.

You simply stared up at her, she soon let out a sigh and sunk down the wall next to you. You then moved and rested your head on your knees which you were now hugging.

"So, anything you want to share?" Erza asked calmly.

'Should I tell her? Or should I not? I don't know. I did promise Mirajane though. I'll tell her another time, I'll leave it for now.' You thought to yourself.

"Nothing." You said quietly, hugging your knees tighter.

"You sure?" She asked.

You nodded confidently, to persuade her.

"NATSU YOU BASTARD!" You heard males shout from inside the guild.

You sprung to your feet stumbling over to the entrance as many of the men from the guild were chasing the pink haired Natsu in your direction. You began to dive out of the way but managed to fall over your own feet, landing hard on your face. Thankfully Erza heaved you out of the way.

You watched as the men running all fell as they got outside the door, landing in a giant heap. All groaning and whining of their pain, mumbling about killing Natsu. You let out a laugh which caused them all to look your way. Looks of embarrassment others of relief, it seemed as if the ones with the looks of relief believed something had happened to you. You soon shrunk away from the attention which seemed to be on you.

'What happened in there to make them look at me like this? Did Mirajane tell them? I hope not.' You thought.
