Just to inform y'all... you guys' comments and votes motivate me to update. Which is why I barely update 🙄 I got 19 comments last chapter 🙃 If y'all don't show this book any love, then there is no motivation for me to update. Which is the reason it takes me so long to update.

Lyric watched as August interacted with his daughter, Aubrey, cheesing hard. Aubrey was so adorable. Her light complexion showed off her deep dimples perfectly.

"So, how has your experience with the baby's mother been? Lyric asked.

"Yeah, Bre's actually really cool," August said as if he was shocked. "I haven't had any problems outta her since Aubrey was born."

[ Breanna- the baby's mother]

[ Breanna- the baby's mother]

"That's really good. Cause ya know that's rare these days." Lyric said, chuckling, August joining in.

"I know right. I'm just real lucky." August said nodding his head. "Hea' you wanna hold ha?" He asked Lyric.

"You sure?" Lyric asked, questionably. The baby looked so cute and little, she was afraid she would do something wrong. August nodded and pushed Aubrey in her direction.

She picked Aubrey up and smiled at her. The little baby could bring joy to a serial killer. Her dimples peeked out as she started to giggle at Lyric, warming Lyric's entire heart.

"Aww, you're so freaking cute." Lyric cooed, grabbing Aubrey's chubby cheeks.

"I mean, I am her father," August said smirking, showing off his grill.

"Yeah, and she must get her looks from her mother." Lyric shaded, chuckling a little.

"Damn, why you gotta shade me LeLe," August stated, calling Lyric the nickname he had given her, due to her middle name (Bailee).

Before Lyric could respond, a notification came to her phone, revealing that she had received a text message.

314-***-****: Lyric?

Lyric was completely thrown off by who she had received the message from. Of course, she remembers the number and was surprised that she had even reached out to her.

Wassup?

Jade- I honestly just want to apologize for what happened at the hospital that day. I have just been trying to pin the responsibility of the reason our father is in jail for someone. I just really miss him. But you're my blood at the end of the day. I now realize that my actions were unacceptable, I acted out at the wrong place and time. Also, sorry for the loss of your mother. I love you little sis ❤️

This bring tears to the brim of Lyric's eyes. She was so happy. She rarely had any family left and this touched her heart. She didn't want to take any more losses.

No love lost sis ❤️ let's catch up soon??

"Who you are over there texting, getting all emotional and shit," August asked, smirking.

"Well, my sister, Jade, just texted me and we are going to link up soon." Lyric said wiping her eyes. "You know I barely have people, so it's always emotional when somebody joins my team." Lyric said with a slight smile.

"Awww, my baybeh," August said, hugging Lyric, his hands placed around her waist. Lyric chuckled and wrapped her hands around his neck, hugging him back.

When Lyric looked up, they were both staring into each other eyes. August licked his plump lips, before his and Lyric's lip met.

The kiss went on for a while, become heated, August backed Lyric into the wall. Still kissing, August's hands roamed Lyrics petite body.

His hands rubbed her pearl through her leggings, causing her to moan into the kiss. Her hips began to rotate against his hand.

The heated session was interrupted by a small knock at the door.

"Fuck," August mumbled, his lips still on Lyrics. Her eyes were hooded due to the previous sensation. "Go upstairs to my room." He demanded her, gripping her behind, biting his lip. She blushed and nodded, heading up the steps slowly.

August went to answer the door, it was his baby mother, Bre.

"Hey, August." She said, give him a side hug. "What my baby doing?"

"She's sleep in her bed right now. I got all her stuff ready, though."

August walked up the steps, and into his blacked out bedroom. When he entered, he seen Lyric, laid on her stomach, scrolling through Instagram on her phone. Her naturally curly hair was spread out on her head.

He made sure that she didn't hear him, before going to lay his body on top of hers.

"August." She shrieked, trying to get his heavy body off of hers, she was already horny and could feel him through his gray sweatpants.

"Stop moving, dang." He flipped their bodies over so that she was straddling his waist. "You comfortable now?" He asked her. She nodded in response.

She picked up her phone from the side of August and began to finish texting her sister back. August grabbed her phone and tossed it to the couch.

"Why you do that? I was doing something." Lyric whined.

"Stop whining." He said, thumping her thy, causing her to shriek.

"I need to get home and go to sleep, August." Lyric whined. "I have a flight to catch tomorrow morning." He chuckled, ignoring her requests.

He cupped her small butt in his hands before making their lips touch together lightly, teasing her, before fully kissing her.

Her hands hung loosely around his neck, moaning into the kiss. He started to press his pelvis into Lyric's pearl, causing her to squirm on him.

Just as August's hands began to place his hand into Lyric's leggings, she stopped him.

"We can't do this." Lyric said hopping up, grabbing her items that she had brung with her.
