After Cass left I grazed and played and galloped like I was a little baby again. I had a wonderful last four months. Kids to love and groom me, two mares to keep me company, and a huge field to call my own. I had a blanket at night and nice sweet grain in the morning and night, add some hay and I was loving the life of a retired horse. Of course I missed Cass and her family but I knew she was doing well. I also missed Jazzi but she would be alright with Cass. She would eventually learn to trust and love her.
One day came when I knew it was time. I was pawing the ground and not eating. They brought me up into their back yard for the night. That night I lied down for slumber, never to wake again. My life was perfect. It started and ended perfect, there were a few bumps along the way but all in all a perfect life. Thank you for reading my story. Now go find your own destiny.
