I open the door with hope filling my heart. There she is. Standing there. Her brown hair flowing in the breeze. The sun swinging down on her head like a halo. Her brown eyes piercing my body. My heart beat speeds up skipping a few times.

Cedar passes my feet and runs to her. I walk towards her then full out run. I get to her and pull her into me. I kiss her lips like I've never been with a woman in my life. Not that it was a bad kiss. I pull her close to me and notice that there is space between her breasts and me. Her breasts used to touch my chest.

"Elle, I have been waiting to see when you would come-." I don't finish instead I miss her again. "To come back."

"I'm so sorry! I have had so much going on, and to be honest I am surprised to have even found you here." She melts into my arms.

I grab her and pull her into my cabin.

She laughs "you still have that tree?" My face flushes a bright red. "Well I mean it's a perfectly good tree." I snicker.

She takes off her sweater, making her bulged belly more prominent. She's pregnant. My mind swoops in circles, as my heart flutters. Please Jesus tell me. Tell me you're carrying my child.

I stare at her. She crosses her leg and looks at me. She realizes I'm staring at her belly she must have got uncomfortable because she puts her hand on it.

"Yes, I'm pregnant. And fat." She breaks the silence. "You're not fat you're adorable!" I reply shutting her down.

"It's really not." She smiles. Her beautiful plump lips separate showing her pearly teeth. Her voice sends hymns into my heart. Whether she's pregnant or not I want to take her. Even though the question still lingers in my mind is it my baby.

"So what are you doing for Easter Beck?" "Eh, just frying some fish right now." I walk over to the stove and kill the fire remembering it's still on. I flip the fish. Fuck me.

"Burnt fish. Sounds good" her laugh fills the cabin. I've missed this!
