Dante's POV

Just then, I saw (Y/N) walk up to us. "Hey (Y/N)!" I said hugging her. "Hey Dante." She replied, hugging back. I felt Laurance staring daggers into me. I let go of her. She moved on to Laurance.

(Y/N) POV

I finished greeting Dante and moved over to Laurance. He was setting down a box when I tapped him on the shoulder.

What the hell am I going to say? What if he's moved on?

My thoughts were caught off by Laurance looking at me.

"(Y-Y/N)!" Laurance said. He had a pink tint spread across his cheeks. "Hey Laurance." I waved. "It's great to see you again. You look great." Laurance said.

That dumbass. He hasn't changed a bit.

"Great to see you too Laurance. I see you haven't changed at all." I said. Laurance chuckled and smirked at me. "It seems like you have since high school." Laurance said. I felt a small blush spread across my cheeks. "Yeah...I guess so." I said. "Wow. You guys are awkward." Garroth said, coming up behind me. "You're not any better Garroth!" I said.

"She's not wrong Garroth." Laurance agreed. I smiled at him. "Okay you two! Stop flirting and help with the boxes!" Dante said, holding a box in his hand. I rolled my eyes at him and started to help the guys.

Throughout the move, I saw Laurance eye me. I'm fairly sure he winked a couple times. I gave him weird glances in return and he just laughed. Garroth kept looking at him with a bit of anger in his face. Looks like someone hasn't changed either. After Garroth left the room, Laurance walked over to me.

"So (Y/N)...it's been a while." He said awkwardly looking away. "Y-yeah. It has." I said. "I was wondering, if maybe you'd want to catch up later on. Like we could meet at the park...um...yeah." Laurance said. He was blushing a bright red. "Sure. I'd love to." I said. He made eye contact with me. "R-really?!" He said, acting surprised. I laughed a bit and nodded.

Laurance's POV

I can't believe she agreed to meeting up later. I can feel the blush spread across my face as she laughed.

Her laugh hasn't changed. It's still perfect. I wish I could kiss her again, I'm sure she doesn't feel the same as she did about me in high school. Maybe she really has changed. I thought.

I snapped out of my La La land to see Dante waving a hand in my face. I slapped it away. "Ow! What was that for?!" Dante said, holding his hand close to his chest. "S-sorry Dante. I was just thinking." I said, making an excuse.

Dante gave me a weird look. "It was about (Y/N), isn't it?" He asked. I stared at the ground, but nodded in response to his question. "Don't worry Laurance. You still have a chance with her! I'm sure she misses you just as much as you do her." He placed a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks Dante." I said. He nodded and left and I was back to my thoughts. I started to help the guys with the final boxes.

We finished getting all the boxes and large furniture in a couple hours. It was around 3:30 now and we were sitting on the couch taking a break. "Thanks for helping us out sis. I really appreciate it." Garroth turned to (Y/N). "No problem. I wasn't gonna do anything, but watch The Walking Dead all day." She said.

"I didn't know you watched TWD." Dante said. "Yeah. I kinda avoided it at first because it was pretty gruesome, but besides that it's a really good show." (Y/N) said. "I watched like the first season...then I gave up for that reason. The gruesomeness." I said. "Well then you're not going to be watching TV with me anytime soon." (Y/N) smirked at me.

Did she just..? Was she flirting with me?! Wow...she really did change. I mean, look at her. The way she dresses. More confident and she apparently flirts now. Maybe she already has a boyfriend and I'm too late. I wouldn't be surprised. She's still perfect.
