Not So Well

(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up the next morning feeling like shit. I sat up, feeling a bit dizzy. I tried to stand up, but immediately fell back onto my bed. This is just great. I happen to have a gig today and having a headache isn't going to help one bit. I decided to call in sick today. I'd have to go in some other time this week. 

I called the manager of the cafe and told them I wasn't going to be able to perform today. Luckily the manager was cool and she said it was alright for me to stay home and rest. Thank Irene. I thought as I hung up the phone and put it on my nightstand. I tried to stand up again. I managed to stand up, but I lost my balance and wobbled a bit as I walked to my bathroom to look for some medicine. 

I went through the medicine cabinet and looked for some Advil. I found a bottle and opened it. Empty. Just my luck. I groaned and threw the empty container in the trash. I slowly walked my way back to my bed and tried to sit down. I ended up missing the bed and falling onto the floor. I reached for my cell phone and dialed Laurance. Come one...pick up. I thought as I waited. 

"Hello?" I heard Laurance say on the other line. "Hey Laur." I said, my throat hurting like crazy. "Hey babe. What's up?" He asked. "Do you think you can go to the pharmacy and get me some Advil? I have a pounding headache." I mumbled into the phone. "Defiantly. I'll be over in 15. I'll get Garroth to go over and watch you while I get it." Laurance. "Okay...thanks." I said, hanging up. 

I put my phone down and just stayed sitting on the floor. About 2 minutes later I heard my door open and Garroth walk in. "Hey sis!" He said. I waved. "What are you doing on the floor...?" Garroth asked. "I missed the bed trying to sit on it." I mumbled. Garroth nodded. "Well the cold floor isn't going to help you." Garroth said. He picked me up and set me back on my bed. 

"What did you do? You're not pregnant are you?! I swear to Irene Laurance is--" "Garroth I'm not pregnant." I cut him off. I felt a small blush spread across my cheeks. "Oh. Good!" he said. I rolled my eyes. 

Garroth kept trying to spark conversation until Laurance came back. Weirdest 15 minutes of my life. "Hey. I see Garroth kept you company?" Laurance asked, holding a plastic bag. Laurance sat down next to me and kissed my cheek. 

"Ew." Garroth said, making a grossed out face. "Garroth if you don't like it then leave." I said, giggling. "I will! Plus, if I get sick it's your fault (Y/N)." Garroth said, standing up and leaving. 

"I got you your Advil." Laurance said, pulling a container out of the bag. "Thanks." I said. I took the container and took out two pills. -I grabbed a nearby glass of water and took it with the Advil. I set the glass back on the nightstand and leaned my head on his shoulder. 

Laurance wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned his head on mine. We stayed there for a while talking and watching cartoons.

TIMESKIP TO LATER IN THE DAY

It was around 2:30 and Laurance and I were sitting in the living room playing video games. We played Call of Duty for while until Laurance gave up. He only won one round. "I still call hacks." Laurance mumbled. I giggled a bit. "You just don't have skill." I said, a sly smile on my face. "That was just beginner's luck." Laurance pouted. "Sure." I said scooting closer to him. I saw Laurance's frown turn into a small smile as I got closer to face. He was a light shade red in less than 2 seconds. 

"You pouting?" I asked, poking his cheek. He turned to face me and smashed his lips against mine. I felt my face heat up as Laurance kissed me. I smiled and kissed back.

"I'll take that as a win!" Laurance said, standing up. "Wait what?! That's bullshit! You can't turn on me like that!" I said. That sly bastard. I thought. "Too late babe." Laurance said, chuckling. "You little bastard." I said, laughing. Laurance sat back down next to me and pulled me into his lap. 

"Who's pouting now?" Laurance sang. "Oh stuff it! I'll get you next time!" I said. "Sure you will." Laurance said. After playing more video games, we decided to tone it down and watch some TV and order a pizza. 

I guess today wasn't so bad.
