Too Many People

About a week later

(Y/N)'s POV

It was around 2 in the afternoon and I was coming home from another gig. I had my guitar case in hand and I was walking back. It was a pretty busy day out. It was a Monday after all.

I made home and immediately flopped onto my couch. I set my guitar case beside the couch and pulled out my phone. I started playing around on Neko Atsume and then went on to watch YouTube.

I was in the middle of a video when I see a text notification from...

Aaron

Of course. I opened the text and read it.

A: Hey. Can I talk to you?
Y/N: Sure
A: Who was that walking with you last week? Holding your hand?
Y/N: Why are you asking?
A: I just wanna know
Y/N: It was Laurance. Idk why you want to know, but you better not be jealous
A: I'm not...just wondering

I can't believe Aaron would ask something like that. He can't be jealous? Can he? I turned my phone off and set it on the coffee table, careful not to break it again. I've had a long day today, the last thing I need is for Aaron to be jealous of me and Laurance. I cleared my mind and decided to take a nap.

Actually, I was about to...but there was a knock at my door. "Who the hell is at my door?!" I mumbled to myself as I stood up and went to open the door. Standing there was Dante. "Uh...h?" I questioned. "You have to help me!" Dante begged. "Great to see you too Dante." I said.

"(Y/N)! This is about something important!" Dante said. I sighed. "Okay, what's wrong?" I asked. "Well...I need help asking someone out." Dante said. He turned a light shade of pink. "Aw! Dante has a little crush!" I teased. "(Y/N)!" Dante said, blushing more. I laughed. "Who's the lucky lady?" I asked. "N-Nicole." He stuttered. "I remember Nicole!" I said. "I'll help you." I said, agreeing.

Back in high school, Dante flirted with every girl. At least, until he met Nicole. Her dad was the principal and she started going to PDH a couple days after we started. Dante has always been crushing on her. Nicole lives on MyStreet as well. She lives behind my house.

"Awesome! I owe you!" Dante said. "Nah. It's fine." I said. "Okay...I guess. Anyways, what do I do?" Dante said. I gave him the usual advice you'd give someone when their asking for relationship advice. 'Always be yourself' and 'Have confidence' and that stuff.

After helping out Dante, he went on his way to see Nicole. I shut the door and laid back down on the couch. I thought I could finally take my nap, but I was wrong. Once again, there was another knock on my door. I groaned and stood back up. I walked over to the door, expecting it to be Dante asking for more advice, but it wasn't him. I opened the door seeing Laurance and Garroth.

"(Y/N)! We need help!" Garroth said. "Okay! No! I don't need help! You need to tell your brother that feathers aren't going to attract women!" Laurance said. I started laughing. "Feathers?!" I snickered. "Feathers do attract women! You have to puff them out and do a little dance." Garroth said, doing what he explained.

"Oh my Irene!" I said, catching my breath. "Garroth...I'll make you a deal. If you can attract any girl that is a stranger with feathers within the next two weeks, I'll give you 5 bucks." I said. "Hm...deal!" Garroth said. Laurance gave me a look that said, 'You-did-not-just-do-that'. "In your face Laurance!" Garroth said, running off with his feathers falling off onto the sidewalk.

"You know that's not why I came here!" Laurance said. I giggled. "I know. I just thought it'd be funny if he could actually attract a woman with feathers." I said, smiling. Laurance pecked my lips and smiled as well. "Well, if we can't pay rent next month...I'm blaming you." Laurance said, leaning on the door frame. "Thanks babe. Love you too." I said.

"Hopefully we didn't interrupt you." Laurance said. "I was going to take a nap, but Dante came over asking for advice. Then you two came along. So...I'm not as tired." I said. Laurance nodded in agreement.

I invited Laurance inside and we sat on the couch talking for the rest of the afternoon, until Garroth came back. Apparently, Garroth needed help with his computer. Laurance left, and I was left by myself again. It was around 6:30, so I decided to head upstairs and shower.

I took a quick, 5 minute shower and threw on an old, (F/C) t-shirt and a pair of black spandex, I threw my clothes from today in my hamper and laid in my bed. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and continued to watch YouTube videos until I fell asleep.
