(Y/N)'s POV

I was leaving the boy's house and it was around 4 pm. Laurance said he wanted to meet up at the park so I agreed. I'm just hoping things don't turn awkward. I thought as I walked inside my house.

I ran up to my room and grabbed a black, MCR hoodie and threw it on. I get cold easily. I gave Laurance my new phone number so he could text me the details. He still hasn't and I'm freaking out, thinking he forgot.

I laid down on my couch and was going to take a small nap, but I got a call from a random number. I picked up.

"Hello?" I asked. "Hey. It's Laurance." The person said. "Oh. Hey." I said awkwardly. "So are you still up for going to the park?" Laurance asked. "Yeah! Where should I meet you? And when?" I asked. "Well we could just meet up there now if you're able to." Laurance suggested. "Okay. That works. I'll see you in a bit." I said. "Okay." He said and hung up.

I sat back up and put my phone into my pocket. I walked out of my house and locked the door. I headed to the park. It was a little windy out, but it wasn't a long walk. The park was down the block. I had a pair of earbuds with me so I put them on and played MCR songs until I got there.

(You can change the band to any other artist or band or not listen to music at all if you want)

It was a 5 minute walk so I made it there around 4:20. I saw Laurance sitting on a bench on his phone. I took one earbud out and walked over to him.

Laurance looked up from his phone and smiled at me. I smiled back and sat next to him. "Hey (Y/N)." He said. "Hi Laurance." I said. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked. "I just wanted to catch up with you. Since it's been like 5 years." Laurance said.

"Yeah. It's been a while." I said. "So what have you been doing the past couple years?" he asked me. "Well after college I moved into a small apartment for rent for about 2 years. Then I moved here. Before I moved I worked at a maid café, but now I just kinda do like little gigs at cafes and parks around here." I explained.

"So you pursued your music career?" Laurance asked. "Kinda...I guess." I said. "I'm sure you're an amazing singer." Laurance complimented. I felt a small blush appear on my cheeks. "Thanks." I said.

"So what have you been doing?" I asked. I hated the spotlight being on me. I'm just too awkward.

"After college, I went to work on my dad's farm for a bit as well as Cadenza. We got a bit of money and then Cadenza moved. I stayed at an apartment with Garroth and I worked at a pizza place. After I quit there, Garroth and I moved here with Dante." Laurance said.

"So were you like a delivery boy or a chef?" I asked. Laurance sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Delivery boy and mascot." He mumbled. I started giggling uncontrollably. Laurance laughed along with me.

I missed theses moments. I really did. I'm glad Laurance is back. I'm just worried about...him...seeing Laurance again.
