Garroth's POV

I had called (Y/N) over for a very important reason. Usually I'm not the type of person you'd ask to deliver news or important information. I'd forget it easily. Anyways, this information happens to be dealing with Laurance...and it's not good news.

So far, things have been pretty well on the street. Nothing bad has happened since (Y/N) and Laurance got together. Or so, I think.

Okay! I'm getting off topic. This is about Laurance. He hasn't been home lately. For about a week now, if you include today. His last known whereabouts were when he left the house for a family thing. Cadenza went along with him as well, although Cadenza carpooled with him. And she's returned. She doesn't know what happened to Laurance though.

Cadenza had told us that her friend had picked her up from her parent's farm. She even saw Laurance leave in his own car. It's really odd. Laurance is someone who calls when he ends up creating new plans. Anyways, earlier today I got a call from..

The hospital.

Flashback to the Call

I was in the kitchen cleaning up the dishes. Dante and Travis went out to the park so I was alone. Plus, Laurance was at his parent's farm. I was starting the dishwasher when I heard the phone ring. I walked out of the kitchen and to the phone. I looked at the caller I.D. and saw that it said 'Hospital'. I'll admit, I panicked a bit.

The hospital?! Why would they call here?! I thought as I picked up the phone. "Hello?" I asked. "Hello! My name's Nancy. I'm calling in to speak to Garroth Ro'maeve. Is this him?" The woman asked. "Y-yes. What's the matter?" I stuttered. "I'm calling to inform you about Laurance Z'vhal. He was in a car accident recently. He happens in critical condition at the moment." Nancy said. I felt myself tear up.

Laurance was my best friend since...like ever. Knowing he was in the hospital broke my heart. That he was in critical condition? What the hell happened?! Laurance knows better than to drink and drive, not that his family would even give alcohol. I don't know if there's anyone that hates Laurance besides Zane, but Zane wouldn't do that. He's not that cruel. As well for texting while driving. Laurance is one of the safest drivers I know!

"D-do you know w-what happened?" I stuttered, but managed to spit out. "Well, Mr. Z'vhal has woke up, but he is in surgery. We found him trapped in his car late last night. There wasn't anything around that could've caused this. His phone was in his pocket when we found him. Someone had called us, as they were walking when they found his overturned car. We checked his BAC level (Chart used to see how drunk someone is). He was perfectly fine. No alcohol in his system." Nancy explained. "Mr. Z'vhal should be getting out of surgery in an hour. Before he went in, he wanted us to call you and tell you to bring-" Nancy paused.

"-(Y/N) Ro'maeve. I'm assuming she's close to him as well as you?" Nancy asked. "Y-yes. She's my twin a-and L-Laurance's lover." I said, getting closer to burst into tears. "He wanted to see the both of you as well as his sister. Cadenza, I believe?" she asked. "Yes! I'll bring them right away! Thank you!" I said, hanging up. I held the phone in my hand and let the tears, that were building up, fall.

After sitting there in utter disbelief, I wiped the tears and called (Y/N). She was at Zane's house at the moment. She might as well bring Zane to comfort her.

End of Flashback

I ended up getting hung up on. I wonder what happened? The call just dropped randomly. Hopefully, she'll be on her way. I'd rather explain in person than over the phone. She'll wont take this well. Of course she won't. I called Cadenza in the mean time.

(Y/N)'s POV

Zane had dragged me all the way to Garroth's house. I'm honestly a little scared. Garroth has never sounded so serious before. It's an unusual thing. Pretty rare. We made to his doorstep. Zane had finally let go of my wrist and knocked on the door. The door swung open to see Garroth clutching a phone and red eyes. "G-Garroth?" I asked. I pushed past Zane and ran inside to Garroth. "G-guys...I-I..." Garroth tried to tell us something, but just trailed off.

"Garroth just spit it out!" Zane said, growing impatient. "I-I just got a c-call...from the h-hospital. I-It's about...L-L-Laurance...h-he was in a car accident last night." Garroth said, bursting into tears.

I stood there. Unable to move. I didn't know what to say. Or do, for that matter. My brain stopped working and my muscles went stiff. I fell to the floor, on my knees, crying. Why?! Why Laurance?! He wouldn't text or drink while driving! He knows better. He's a good man.

"Hello?" I looked up and saw Cadenza in the doorway with tears flowing down her cheeks. I stood up and hugged her, crying into her shoulder. She returned the hug and cried on my shoulder as well.

Irene please let him be safe...
