First Gig

About a Week Later

(Y/N)'s POV

I was in my bedroom watching Netflix. I was catching up on TWD while getting for a gig I had at a cafe nearby. It was around 12 pm and my gig was at 1.

I walked to my closet and picked out something casual. I pulled out a grey tank top, a pair of black leggings, and a pair of grey Toms. I threw that on and went into my bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror.

Mother of Irene I'm a wreck. I thought as I put on a bit of makeup to cover up blemishes. After doing my makeup, I worked on my hair.

I ran a comb through my hair and a brush as well. I left my hair down and put a bit of hairspray in so it didn't look like a cloud formed on my head later on.

I finished getting ready and walked out to my room. I shut my TV off and walked downstairs. I decided to skip lunch and just eat after my performance.

I grabbed my guitar case from my closest and walked out the door to my car.

TIMESKIP TO THE CAFE

Garroth's POV

I was in my bedroom unpacking the final boxes. I was planning on looking around for a job with Laurance. Dante went out to explore and visit Nicole, who he found out lives here as well.

I took out the empty boxes I had and put them in the garage. Laurance was in there. "Hey Laurance!" I said, walking to him. "Hi Garroth." He replied. He was looking through a binder.

Odd. I wonder what it is? I thought as I walked closer.

"What's the binder for?" I asked him. "I just found it. It was filled with some old pictures from high school." Laurance said.

He set the binder down on a stool and started flipping through the pages filled with pictures.

There's one for every occasion! The first day of school, the day Laurance asked out (Y/N), the clubs we did, even the dance! I forgot about these....

"I completely forgot we did this over the summer!" I said, amazed and still flipping through the pages.

"Yeah. I found an extra box here and started looking through it. I found this guy in there at the bottom." Laurance said pointing at a box in the corner.

"Dante must've put it there. Anyways, we have to go see if we can find jobs. You ready?" I asked.

Laurance nodded as we walked out to the car. We decided to head downtown where there were shops at every corner.

This town is really nice. I thought as I drove slowly past a cafe. I saw a sign that said 'Now Hiring'. I elbowed Laurance.

"Ow! What Garroth?" Laurance asked, a hand at his side. "They're hiring! Maybe we can get a part time job and then look for another one!" I suggested.

Laurance nodded and got out of the car. I followed him to the entrance.

We peered through the window and saw a girl performing. She (H/L), (H/C). Just like (Y/N)--wait. That's her!

I didn't know she could get up on stage...she hasn't done it in years...

Laurance's POV

Garroth and I were looking through the window and noticed  (Y/N) singing on stage. We walked into the cafe and sat in the front.

She didn't notice us walk in, but damn...she has one hell of an amazing voice.
