Cece´s POV

I felt the car moving and I knew I was on top of one of them who was embracing me strongly but I couldn´t even open my eyes to see who.

“Evan take the road to the hospital” Jason said.

“Don´t you hear her dude she doesn´t want to go there!" Evan said in an un-easy tone.

“I don´t care what she wants, she can´t even stand straight without falling and neither we are sure she has conscious! Plus look at her if it wasn´t for her burning temperature I would have assume she was dead!” Jason argued.

“Yeah but she was really sacred when we told her we would take her to the hospital!” Eric soft voice intrude their fight.

“Guys are you stupid!? She is covered in sweat and dirt and blood and GUYS WE HAVE TO TAKE HER TO A DOCTOR!” Jason shouted.

“We don´t know what happened to her and we will not carry her somewhere she doesn´t want to, let’s go to my house and figure out what to do.” Evan answered bitterly and ended the conversation.

Minutes later I felt how the car stopped and I was lifted up again and carried bridal style by who I knew now, was Eric. I heard the sound of a door open and I realized we entered Evan´s house because a draft of cold air from an air conditioner calmed me.

“Eric leave her in the couch and you Jason grab water and food from the kitchen I´m going to get some clothes” Evan told them and they amazingly didn´t argue but follow their orders.

I felt being leaned softly against a velvet couch, and as I opened a little my eyes to found Eric´s worried gaze over me as with is hand stoke  my muddy face. Soon after Jason entered rushing into the living room and laid a bottle of water and bread in a table near me.

“She is awake” Jason spoke frozen when he saw my eyes open.

“Yeah” Eric just said.

Quickly Jason poured water in a glass and pushed Eric away to be him the one seating next to me in the couch.

“Drink” he ordered.

I tried to sit straight and take the glass by myself but Jason came closer and gave it to me himself. He gave me little, slow amounts of water until I finished the glass and then laid his hand on my forehead.

“You are burning.” he stated and I shrugged. “Should we take her clothes off? Cece what the hell are you doing wearing cotton in summer? Eric go and get a thermometer.”

 *

Minutes later I was sitting down in the couch with the thermometer in armpit. In the same couch, Eric was sitting, and in between the chairs where Evan and Jason were sitting there was a short glass table where the bread, the water and some clothes Evan had brought were.

Evan was staring at me with anger in his eyes while Eric´s gaze was much motherly and Jason was just possessively rude.

The sound of a phone broke the silence and Jason picked his cell phone and answered.

“No coach I won´t be going” he spoke to the person that was calling him.

“Yes I know what that means but I really can´t go sorry” Jason kept talking.

“Bye, sorry” he finished.

“Hey you don´t need to have me here go and do you things and I will just walk back home” I said with a low tone of voice, because I wasn´t recovered yet. I saw Evan´s jaw tighten in anger and I knew that what I just said was nonsense because I didn´t even have the strength to move.
