Nate´s Pov
I was so nervous standing there outside Whitey´s office (the team ´s coach), knowing that my future was being decided right now. The minutes seemed hours and I couldn’t bear the pressure. This famous football recruiter, Kingsley, was looking for teens to offer them a kind of training camp that opened you to lots of football opportunities and scholarships. He had been studying my game since last year, and today I was supposed to be told if I was going to be accepted to the camp starting next week.
The camp was in Massachusetts… Quite a long way from here, assuring a not so good contact with my family since it was a two moths camp…. I wouldn’t ditch school though as this program also include intellectual studying, so when I came back I would easily catch up. It was too good, too good to be true, that was why I was basically so damn nervous.
“Harper?” Whitey called me from his office.
“Congratulations Nate, I will see you next week” Kignsley said shaking our hands and exiting the room.
I, couldn´t, breathe. THAT MEANT I DID IT?
I looked up at Whitey confused but he just smile and said “Yes Nate you were accepted in, you just have to make your parents sing all these authorizations and next week you will be….” He said but I was so happily shocked that I barely heard what he continued talking about.

“Oh baby we are going to miss you so much” my mum said singing the paper after my dad did. I knew they were proud of me, so was I and I couldn´t wait to tell Cece….
“Where is Cece?” I asked since I haven´t seen her since yesterday at school.
“Oh yeah I was worried about her, she went to sleep over at Nicole´s but she was supposed to be home by now, or at least answered her cell phone!” my father said angrily.
“Okay I will just stop at Nicole´s and look for her” I calmly proposed knowing her cell-phone must had run out of battery or something like that.
Eric´s Pov
The sun was fading away when I was leaving the coffee shop where I worked when a car almost hit me. It was Nate and… Nicole? They got quickly out of it and the first one to talk was Nicole.
“What happened after I left Eric? Gosh I should had never left her with you… where is she?” she said desperate.
“Hey what’s the problem? She was still sleeping when I headed out to work this morning…” I said without thinking. Nate was there.
“Sorry did I just heard wrong or you just say that you slept with my sister?” Nate demanded stunned.
“Yes” I nodded, but then I realized what I said had really meant “No! No… well not that way, she just stayed over at…” I said trying to explain.
“Okay no time to discuss this guys just please Eric call your mum and see if she is still there” she urged.
“My mom didn´t know that Cece was at home… Why? What´s wrong?” I asked again.
“Don´t know, she hasn´t come home nor pick up her phone” Nate explained.
After that, I called my mom and she said that it was around midday when she entered my bed room and there was no one there.
"What are we going to do now?” Nicole asked preoccupied.
“I guess we will have to wait” Nate suggested.

When night fall, we decided to tell Mrs. and Mr. Harper about our problem. It was quite awkward how I and Nicole explained last night events. They were furious and disappointed. Disappointed at Cece and Nicole for lying, and especially Nicole for leaving her with me. Me. They were furious at me, Mr. Harper couldn’t stop glaring at me with “I want to kill you” look since I told them she had slept at my house, I think that he was afraid I wasn´t telling the complete truth about what happened last night. I will surely kill Cece when she appears, like… why did she run away like that? Now her whole family hates me as they think I took advantage of her! Ugh…
Yet I started to worry when midnight arrived, and the police was involucrate in the whole thing. The house was filled with cops, interviewing me and Nicole. The situation was turning to be a lot more serious that what it all started being… She was reported missing.
Nate´s Pov
We were awake all night waiting for news but nothing came until 6 am… the phone rang.
“Umm… Hi… Dad?” a very fragile voice spoke. Cece!
“God Cece where are you!?” my father shouted and a silence filled the room.
“One million” a strong, husky male´s voice said.
“What? Who am I talking to?” my father spoke shaking.
“If you want to ever again see your pretty daughter I want you, Mr. Harper to take one million dollars to 59 street and Charleston and leave it next to door of the abandoned restaurant in the street” the voice said sending shock waves through the room where I stood paralyzed.
“Do you hear me?” the voice shouted.
“Yes. Don´t harm her.” My father pleaded with a sorrowful voice. My mother started crying hardly and my whole body froze, Cece had been kidnaped…
“You have until 8 o´clock. If any police forces know about this forget about the girl” the man said before hanging up.
Silence filled the room.

It was so heart-breaking to see my parents like this. My father had, one hour ago, left the money and there were no news about Cece. What will happen if she doesn´t come back?
The phone rang again. Though I knew my father was about to pick it I took it first.
“Yeah?” I asked
“Umm… Good morning we are calling from the police station” a woman´s voice said.
“What happens?” I asked as my soul teared apart.
“We have found your sister Mr. Harper.”
