Cori was woken up earlier than expected, by a text message from Dina: Txt me back immediately XD
Cori sighed, and went back to sleep, completely ignoring her best friend. She slept until the alarm went off, in the kitchen. The sisters arose from their slumber and trudged into the kitchen. Both yawning with sleepiness as they fluttered their eyes in the too bright of light.
"Morning." Cori smiled, or attempted to, it was too early to be alive. Ricky grunted and headed back into her room. The light flickered on and Cori knew it was better not to bother her until she was dressed. And she wasn't going to bother her, until she saw a note on the counter. "Ricky?" She half shouted. Rick came out of her room completely dressed, shoes and everything.
"What the fuck do you want?" She growled, rubbed her eyes and blinking to realign her contacts.
"Mommy and Daddy left us a note again. It says: Already left for work, get yourselves up and go to school. Daddy already left for therapy. Bye, love you guys." Ricky walked lazily back into her room to grab her hoodie.
"There never around anymore." Ricky yelled as she stuffed her iphone and itouch into her pockets. Cori shook her in a disappointment, crumpled the note, and tossed it into the garbage can. "They love us still though." Cori called to her sister. Ricky just mumbled something dismissive and continued to get ready.
"Maybe if they were around more they could prove it." Ricky growled and lifted her backpack and went out the door. "Drive me to school." Ricky said as she walked outside.
"You'll be happy to know that I left my car at school so me and you are taking the bus." Cori said and quickly put clothes on.
"You hate me. And it's you and I. Use proper gramar." Ricky said as she began walking to the bus stop, leaving her sister to catch up. But both girls did catch the bus, and got to school in one piece, unfortunately. As soon as they got to school they saw Dina, and she almost knock them over when she ran up.
"They're famous! They're in a band called One Direction! Holy shit we're dating famous people." Dina was throwing her hair as she flipped out. Cori had to actually grab her by the shoulders to stop her from getting whiplash.
"You are aware of the fact that we aren't dating them right?" Ricky put a judgmental hand on her hip.
"Pff, details." Dina waved a dismissive hand at her friend.
"Well, are they any good?" Ricky questioned and Dina looked as if she was going to kill her. "Of course they are, they are phenomenal! Listen." Dina turned up some music from her phone. Harmonies and catchy pop tunes flooded Cori and Ricky's ears, all girls couldn't help but smile.
"How did you figure it out?" Cori asked the still smiling Dina.
"Tumblr, I searched their names and got this. Good huh? I mean I usually don't like boy bands but this is definitely my new favourite one?" Dina shoved her phone back into her pocket.
"They replaced the Jonas Brothers?!" Ricky gasped, covering her mouth in a melodramatic fashion. All the girls laughed. "Nobody replaces them, but One Direction are a close 2nd." She smiled and with that the bell rung and all the girls headed to class.
Dina sat in class, doodling and drawing Zayn's name in multiple fonts. Cori really wasn't a doodler, so she just stuck to her imagination, thinking about the shining blue eyes of her hopefully new boyfriend. Ricky was writer, therefore she basically filled up half a notebook with a story about the blonde headed boy. All three girls were infatuated by the 3/5 of the boy band, and were definitely feeling the effects of young love. And all of them were thinking it out and hoping it would amount to more, even the pessimistic Ricky.
