"Is this going to be enough chips?" Alex asked as she held a variety of bags of chips.

"Yeah! Thats good! Now can you go grab two bags of cookies? Jack texted me that he really loves them." I said looking through my list again. She nodded and made her way through another aisle. Mom came back with juices and sodas, she smiled at me as she put them in the cart. We were in the store buying snacks and food for the 'little' sleepover.

"I need to buy some toys for Alex and Wolf, you know to make sure that they don't bite their heads off!" Mom joked.

It's true, Alex was found in the wild, surviving on the meat of predators and prey. Scary right? She was found by police and was put into the adoption center. Then she was adopted by Mom, she acted like a dog at first but later she understood they way of humans. That's why we also got Wolf, so Alex could have an animal buddy. Alex also learned how to read and stuff, then she found a 'How to become a Comedian' book. She accidentally read it.

"I got the cookies that look more better than the others." Alex came back with the cookies.

"Thanks! Now go with Mom, she going to buy some dog toys." I told as I patted her head.

"But, I-I don't want t-toys..." Alex whimpered. I raised an eyebrow, usually should she would bark in excitement but this time, she looked beat down.

"Why? You usually like it when Mom buys you toys!" I said as I pushed the cart.

"Look! I'm afraid to be judged by your friends! How would they react to a 12 year old who acts like a dog!" she growled.

"Alex." I said as I stopped the cart,""Your not a dog, you just have experiences from being in the wild! In fact, you're special because it's rare for people to have special techniques from the wild!" I said giving her a hip bump.

"I know I'm special but will your friends accept me?" she looked at me dead in the eye. I thought about it, none of the guys mentioned hate towards animals and they do enjoy cool stuff.

"You're right, they won't like you..." I stared back at her. She sighed,"They'll love you." I finished the sentence. Her chocolate, brown eyes gleamed with relief.

      "Really?" she yelped with excitement.

"Trust me. I know my boys." I smirked. She smiled as she saw Mom pick up a green chew toy, she barked then covered her mouth.

"I mean, I want the blue one, it looks better." she nervously chuckled.

"We should be going now, they probably could be there any moment now." Mom smiled as she handed Alex the chew toy.

"Okay! Let's get going then." I laughed. After we paid for the groceries we sped as fast as we can to the house, worrying that one of the guys might be there. Luckily, there was no one waiting on the steps so we went inside and prepared for the boys to come tonight. Mostly me and my Mom did all the work because Alex and Wolf were playing with their toys.

"I think I heard someone knock honey..." Mom said as she pause from cleaning the dishes.

"Oh, I need to change! Alex please get the door!" I quickly panted as I ran up the stairs. She barked in response as I heard her shuffle to the door. I quickly slipped out of my clothing and and put on a plain white shirt with black sweatpants they had little pictures of coffee mugs.

"(Y/n)! He said his name is Mark!" I hear my Mom say from downstairs.

"I'm coming!" I called from my room. I raced down the stairs to run into a concerned Mark staring at Alex.
