I walk down the halls of the highschool. My friends Chris and PJ to either side of me.

"Hey Phil, did you hear the news? Theres a new student coming today or tomorrow." Pj told me. He was in charge of keeping up with the gossip around the school, and keeping me in the loop.

"Really? Do we have a name? Gender? Place they are moving from?" I ask him.

"No name, boy I think, and don't know where he came from" he responds.

"When he get here, let me know. I'll have to meet him. Meanwhile, does anyone know where Tyler is?" I say, raising my voice with my last question.

No one in the halls made eye contact as they part to make a path for me to walk easily.

Eventually I catch Tyler on his way to the library.

"Thought you could could hide from me? Come on, you know better then that." I say as Tyler freezes in his tracks.

Like a deer in the headlights, Tyler faces me with frozen fear behind his eyes.

"N-n-n-n-no I- wasn't hi-hiding... Just... Getting a book book." Tyler said shaking, finally being able to move under my glare.

" Awww Tyler just wanted to read!" I exclaim, pushing him against the wall. He had a happy life that he doesn't deserve. My life wasn't that bad, but it should be better. Why does Tyler get to be happier than me?

After I punch Tyler around, not enough for it to be noticed by any teacher, I head to my first hour with pj by my side. Chris had a different class.

"I got a name for the new guy. Still not former location though." Pj informed me.

"Whats the name?" I asked.

"Dan"

Funny, that name sounds familiar.
