I felt like I was on a natural high when I walked to my sixth period. I think she likes me. Every time I'm with her I feel this rush of energy go through me and I feel untouchable.

I was brought back to reality when I arrived a few seconds late to class. The teacher, Mrs. Sekka gave me a detention for being like thirty second late!I don't even know why I bothered to show up to this class anyway, I barely pay attention and I still have a descent grade. All you have to do in this class is the (extremely easy) handouts that she gives you and shut the hell up when she's teaching. Even if you talk a lot in this class, but still do the handouts you are guaranteed to get at least a B- in this class.

The desk that I sat in for this class was in the back, against the wall, closest to the door. I jammed my head phones in my ears and leaned against the wall. I was just about to drift off to sleep when the classroom door burst open.

"Spirit count!!" a cheerful girl with a Mickey Mouse hat said. Spirit count is when the school would have special days to wear a certain type of clothing or jewelry relevant to a certain chosen theme. By the end of the year, whichever class out of the freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors had the most people wearing spirit clothing would get a free trip to the water park.

"Any freshman wearing anything Disney?" a boy standing behind the cheerful girl whose name was Grant asked the class excitedly. Damn those leadership kids for being so damn cheerful. Three girls stood up as the cheerful girl began to write on a clipboard.

"Sophomores?" Grant asked. Two girls stood up.

"Juniors?" Twelve people stood up. Yay juniors! Class of 2015! Yeah buddy!

The leadership kids looked surprised to see so many people students stand all at once for spirit count. Mrs. Sekka smiled as she announced that since she was also wearing Disney apparel, she was going to give her spirit point to the juniors. Knowing that there were no seniors in our class, the leadership students left the class room to go on to the next one.

"That guy was kinda cute" says a girl next to me. I looked at her and nodded my head. He was an attractive person, but he was also gay.

"He's also gay" I said voicing my thoughts.

"Goddammit" the girl cursed "Every guy I find attractive always either has a girlfriend or is gay"

She was right and I knew that. The most important people in my life just so happen to be gay, attractive men.

I laughed as I replaced my earphones back in my ears. Sweetest Love by K. Michelle was playing I smirked as I thought of how relevant this song was compared to the conversation I just had.

For the past few weeks I had been sitting at Krystal's lunch table for 'even days'. Even days are when we have our even class periods (2, 4, 6). Odd days are when we have our odd numbered classes (1, 3, 5, 7). On both even and odd days I have second lunch. Krystal has second lunch on even days and first lunch on odd days.

"Hey" I said to Krystal as I sat down at the table "After school we are so going to Rite Aid" As usual I was craving ice cream. Since the day I found Krystal walking home I've been giving her rides to school to and from the middle school. I don't know why she won't tell me where she lives or why she is always hesitant to get personal with me, but at least I can tell that she is a lot more comfortable with me then the first time I drove her to school.

"You are such a fatty" she said to me laughing.

"Hello to you too" Malik said to me once I started to pick at my salad "Yeah there are more people at this table besides Krystal"
