Chapter Twenty Seven - "I Would Rather Get My Nipples Pierced."

Avery's P.O.V

"Explain." Logan says and lets go of my arm. I hold my arm by my side and look up at Logan, a slight headache starting to form in my head as I remember that night.

"Chance and I were friends way back, before I moved here. Since the place I used to live was full of thugs and all, Chance was by my side to help me if anyone wanted to start trouble with me. Chance and I liked each other for a while but Chance was falling for me. He didn't say it though. We hooked up a few times but my feelings for him were nothing serious but I realised too late." I start off and Logan nods, waiting for me to continue.

"When Chance confessed his feelings for me, I told him I didn't like him in that way and he got pissed. He started telling everyone that I used him and he even spread a rumor that I drugged him then had sex with him. When that got around, I was a mess. Everyone wanted to have their piece of me but I didn't let them but when I started taking drugs which made me go really crazy, I wanted to get into everyone's pants but since I rejected them the first time, they pushed me away just like I pushed them away." I say and Logan crosses his arms over his chest.

"Did you have sex with him?" Logan asks and I narrow my eyes at him and shake my head.

"I just said it was a rumor." I say and Logan shrugs.

"Just checking." He says and I nod, continuing on with my story.

"At that time, I began using everyone. I got on everyone's bad side and thats when I had to leave because I was getting into too many fights with everyone at school. My parents didn't know any of this though because I was living with my Uncle at the time while my parents were on vacation. Since I was thirteen at the time, I couldn't go with them because I was too young so yeah. When I left, I thought everything would be over and my past would never come back into my life. That's why I changed into this person I am today but I never knew Chance would find me and start trouble." I say and Logan rubs his temple, his eyes closing.

"What did Chance mean when he said 'you were always good with that mouth of yours'?" Logan asks and I play with my fingers.

"He made me suck his..." I trail off and Logan runs his hands down his face, a small groan escaping his lips.

"Anything else?" He asks and I bite my lip and shake my head.

"You don't hate me, do you?" I ask and Logan shakes his head, his eyes opening and his arm going to his side.

"No, I'm trying to prevent myself from going back in there and punching the shit out of this Chance dude." Logan says and I sigh.

"I'm sorry for everything. I didn't mean to make your night so terrible and-" Logan interups me by wrapping his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.

"Its okay, Avery. I'm glad you told me this." Logan smiles before kissing my forehead and I smile too, hugging him again.

"Now, let's just go in there, play truth or dare or something and have a good time, okay?" Logan says and I nod. Logan grabs my hand and holds it in his as we walk back into the house.

"Spin the bottle, Patrick." Claire says, and Patrick grabs the sides of the bottle and spins it. We all watch as it spins around and I could tell by the look on everyone's faces that they were hoping it wasn't them.

Right now, we are playing a spin the bottle/truth or dare game that we decided to play for fun. In the circle, there is ten people and in order, this is the places of everyone's seating placements. I am sitting next to Logan and Logan is sitting next to Patrick. Patrick is sitting next to Claire and Claire is sitting next to Jennifer. Jennifer is sitting next to Katie and next to Katie is Scottie - the guy I tried to make Logan jealous with - and beside Scottie is Stacey - the girl who was gripping at Chance's arm before - and next to Stacey is Chance. Terry is next to Chance which means that Terry is also sitting next to me.
