Chapter Six - "Well, Don't You Look Cute."
___

Avery's P.O.V

"You wrecked that bitch!" Claire says and I nod in agreement.

"I know." I chuckle and Claire gives me a high five. I hear Logan chuckle and I look over my shoulder. "Something funny?" I ask with confusion, turning my head back around to focus on the road. When I stop the car at a red light, I look back at Logan and he looks back at me with an amusing smile.

"Always." Logan says and I look back at the road. I roll my eyes and look down at my bruised knuckles which were turning white from how hard I was gripping at the steering wheel.

Your probably wondering what happened with the fight so I will tell you. So when I practically jumped on Katie, Claire stopped and let me have my fun. Since it was my first fight, my whole body was shaking with feelings and emotions I didn't even know I had and I went full out. By the time she had enough, blood was running out of her nose, she had a busted lip and both her eyes were bruised since I punched that area quite a lot.

When I stood up, Katie ran off down the street, well, not before tripping over a stick and falling flat on her face. That probably fucked up her face more since the concrete made contact with it. Anyway, after that, her friends were nowhere to be seen and everyone was cheering and high fiving me. Emma wasn't too impressed but she understood why I did it. Logan by the way was speechless.

When I asked him why he had no words, he replied with, "I didn't think you could throw a punch." It was weird, yes, but quite amusing. But Logan didn't know me that well so I couldn't blame him.

After that, Claire told us she wanted to go home and sleep since she was going to have a massive headache in the morning and if she didn't get sleep, she was going to become the devil, according to Claire. Claire liked her sleep so I understood why she wanted to jump into bed.

"Here," Claire cuts in and I stop the car immediately. Claire says her goodbyes and hops out of the car. We watch as she stumbles up the stairs but makes it up without falling and she rings the doorbell.

"Can I get in the front?." Logan asks and I shrug, not really caring. He climbs over and I turn to him.

"So where are we going now?" I ask and Logan gives me a grin.

"Definitely not to yours."

Wait, what?

Since I was really stupid and choosing to go to Logan's - even though I could've went home since I was behind the wheel - I knew that it would've been the better choice since my parents were probably angry, worried and frustrated since I was supposed to be grounded.

When we passed my house though, all the lights were off which meant that they were asleep. I couldn't blame them though because it was midnight and since my family liked their sleep, they chose to go to bed.

By the way, since my father is very very strict, I didn't have the balls to go home. My my, I don't know what he would do and I don't want to know. It was scary knowing I might die in a couple of hours anyway.

Yes, hours. I chose to sleep at Logan's since I was starting to have a massive headache and my parents yelling at me wouldn't make it better so Sarah basically told me I would have to share a room with Elena since her room had more space - even though they had a spare room - but Sarah told me that even though Elena was shy, she wanted me to stay in her room. So that's what I'm doing.
