Chapter Twenty Five - "I Love Logan Maddox?"
___Avery's P.O.V
"Good work girls. While watching you all, I have noticed a slight change in you, Katie. Are you feeling okay?" The coach asks, directing her attention to the blonde with the glasses and I hold in a snicker.
Well, seeing from how many punches to the face she received today, it seems like she is doing okay.
"Yes, I'm fine." Katie says and the coach nods.
"Well, you haven't really showed that. I am sorry but until you get your head cleared up, Avery will have to take your spot." The coach says and I grin.
Shame, bitch.
"What! No, you can't-"
"It will only be temporary so calm down." The coach says and I roll my eyes.
Sook.
"Good." Katie says and walks off to the bench, grabbing her bag and walking out of the gymnasium. The rest of the squad do the same and I walk out the door with Claire by my side.
Speaking of Claire, after her chat with Henry, she seemed to be in a good mood. She had told me that Henry said she should just wait until Patrick comes up to her and tries to defend himself but until that day comes, Henry advised that Claire should stay away from Patrick. I agree with him though which made Claire certain of her actions and thoughts towards Patrick.
"I'll be back. I have to go talk to Mr Collins about my assignment. I'll meet you in the cafeteria, okay?" I say and Claire nods. I walk away from Claire and turn to corner to bump into the guy I was hoping not to run into today.
"Hey, sunshine." Logan grins and I keep my head down, walking around him and up the stairs. When I reach the top of the stairs though, I feel a rough hand hold my shoulder, making me spin around to face them. I groan and slap Logan's hand away.
"Stop touching me." I say, glaring at Logan and he smirks.
"Why? You like the feel of me touching you anyway." Logan says and I remember how I admitted to liking what happened at my house until we were interrupted by my Aunty. As I look up at Logan, I notice his hand touch my hip and hold onto it. Logan's other hand then runs down arm then gripping at my hip, joining his other hand.
"I will cut your hands off if you touch me again." I threaten and Logan raises an eyebrow when I pinch him, making him let go of my hips.
"But how would I help you?" Logan asks, a smirk on his face and I run my hands down my face in frustration.
"What do I have? A mental illness? Unless I see your diploma, I won't listen to word you say about 'helping' people." I snap and Logan shakes his head, his grin changing into a frown.
"You didn't get it." Logan says and I shove him.
"I got it, Logan, you dirty minded fuck face!" I scream at him and Logan grins.
"You mean sexy imagination, sunshine." Logan winks and I lick my teeth in annoyance.
"Correct me again and I will slap you." I threaten and Logan rolls his eyes.
"God, whats got your panties in a knot?" Logan asks and I let out a frustrated groan.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" I say, holding my hands on my ears as I start to walk away.
I swear, I hate when he does this. He makes me feel so many different emotions in one day and I hate being this moody. It's just not me.
This is what happens when you love someone.
