Lisa's POV
I had been dropped off at Shane's to get my car then I drove to my moms house which was an hour away but when I got there she wasn't there
So I texted her
L-mom where are you
J-I told you I was in Canada remember
L-oh yeah right ok bye
So I tried Jessie's phone
Then I remembered she's visiting her cousins in new York
So I figured I would just go home even though I was scared as hell of that place
Plus corny was in a doggie hotel for the night so basically im fucked
Then Shane called and I picked up
"Hey how's your mom's?"he asked
"She's in Canada,Jessie is in new York,my brother is in Arizona for a business trip with his wife and cornys in that dog hotel and I don't wanna go home cause I'm sacred as fuck so I'm FUCKED but I think there is a hotel down like twenty minutes away so I'll stay there"I said
"No you're staying at my house"he said sternly
"Shane that's really nice but won't that be awkward also I don't want to invade you and Ryland's privacy"I said
"Trust me you won't be invading anything see even Ryland says so"Shane said
"Hey Lisa we would love to have you stay here at Dawson inn"Ryland laughed
"Ignore him"Shane laughed
"I'll be there in like an hour"I laughed
"Ok bye love you"he said
"Love you too"I said then hung up
~about an hour later~
Shane's POV
The doorbell rang so I ran down the stairs and Lisa came in looking like she was about to cry
I hugged her and she let all her tears out onto my shirt
"Shhh everything is gonna be fine"I assured her rubbing her shaking back she was trying to stop crying but she couldn't
"I'm sorry for ruining your night"she cried
"No no no you didn't do anything wrong"I promised her
"I feel like I'm gonna fucking pass out"she said
Her skin was pale and she was still shaking
"Let's get you some rest"I said picking her up because her legs felt weak then I took her to the spare room
I layed her down
"Do you need anything?"I asked her
"No thank you but thanks for being so nice"she said
I just smiled at her then left
Ryland's POV
~about an hour later~
Shane was editing and I went downstairs to find Lisa lighting candles with two plates of chicken parmesan a bottle of wine and a big Bowl of salad
"Hey ryland I hope you don't mind but I made you and shane dinner"she said washing the dishes in the sink
"Oh thanks Shane's actually"I said
"Editing?,ya he always starts at seven-seventeen"she laughed
"How did you know that?"I asked in confusion
"7 and 17 are his favorite numbers he's always done that"she giggled
Then went upstairs I followed her to eavesdrop on their conversation...hey wouldn't you
"Shane I made you and your fiancé dinner"she giggled
"Aww you kept my shirt"he said laughing
"Yes I did"she said sarcastically
Then they came outand Lisa went back in the guest room
"Shane...?"I asked
"Yeah"he said back
"Is there something going on between you and Lisa because you seem awfully close for just friends and I don't like how she's flirting on you"I said
"First of all no second of all how I treat my friends is none of you fucking business and third she's no flirting with me"he snapped then took his chicken upstairs
Shane's POV
I walked upstairs and into the guest room
"Ugh I can not believe Ryland right now"said putting the plate on the bed
"Shane what's wrong?"she asked while hugging me
"He thinks im cheating on him with you"I said
