Ryland's POV
I was standing in the door way waiting for Shane to come in
I saw his car pull up and stop
He got right out and came to the door
It wasn't locked so he opened it
I just hugged him clouding the door with his foot he put his head on my shoulder I could feel his hot tears fall upon my neck and drip down my back
"I can't do this I'm such a little bitch she would hate me for walking out like that"he said realesing from our hug and pacing back and forth
"Honey don't say that"he said
"I know I know I'm sorry thank you"he said then kissed me
I kissed him back and we just smiled at one each other
Shane's POV
"Hey shouldn't your dad be getting home from Canada for the holidays"I said since Ryland said that his dad moved
A look of sadness came to his face moved and a couple tears to his eyes
"He didn't go to Canada he went to new York and never came back they only found his body"he said crying softly
"Oh honey it's okay,When did he pass?"I asked holding him tight
"September eleventh two thousand and one he was in a meeting"he said pressing his head deep into my chest soaking my shirt with tears
I rubbed his back up and down in deep vertical strokes
"I just wish I could have said goodbye I was at school when it happened"he said trying to stop crying
"Baby I'm so sorry"I said hugging him and kissing his head
"Don't be I'm just gonna go to bed I need to be alone"he said
And with that he left he just walked away
