I was driving home and saw Shane looking at his phone smiling
"What's so cute,I mean besides you?"I laughed
"When we first started texting"he laughed
"I swear to god if you're laughing at me-"I said
"Hey bro is this Shane"he said mocking me
"Shane lee yaw you better stop"I said laughing at how much I loved him
"Hello it's meeeeeeeeeeeeee"he said laughing
I took my phone off my leg and put on the vacation song
He was almost dying of laughter
"I love you"he said
"I love you too"I smiled at him
I parked the car cause we where home and got out
I walked up and went into the house Shane behind me
My phone started ringing as I closed the door
I looked and it was my sister
"Hey"I said pleased to speak to her
"Mom's dead..."she said sounding like tears where forming
"Oh my god no she can't be are you sure?"I asked,even though she hit me and hated me she is my mother and I still love her
"Yeah this morning she had an overdose"morgan said now full on crying
"Listen,Morgan I know death sucks but...I don't even ducking know where is her funeral gonna be?"I asked putting a hand on my face in stress
"Next Monday in Denver"she said
"Okay ill try and get a flight for tomorrow"I said then hung up
"She's dead"I said hugging Shane
He kissed my head
"Shane?"I asked as tears threatened to escape my eyes
"Yeah honey"he said into my hair
"C-can you come to the funeral with me?"I asked hugging him as tears flowed down my face
"Of course"he whispered then again kissing me
"I love you"I cried
"I love you too"Shane whispered
