Ryland's POV
~later that night~
I was driving around at about five at night when I found a bar
"Eh a couple drinks can't hurt"I said to myself
So I got out of my car and went in
Shane's POV ~later/next morning~
I was getting really worried about ryland it was almost three in the morning
I've called him a couple times but I keep hearing his cute voice on the voicemail
My thoughts where inturupted by the doorbell
"Ryland,baby that you?"I asked with hope in my voice as I opened the door to find him there
I pulled him into a hug and kissed his cheek
"Hey Shane"he slurred stumbling into the house
"Somebody had to many drinks tonight,huh?"I laughed
He stared at me like I had three heads "I am not drunk if I was i wouldn't have driven home"he slurred
"You drove home?!,honey how many drinks did you have?"I said moving closer to him
"I'm not fucking drunk!"he screamed then raised his hand and slapped my face hard and ran away
I stood in awe,pain,and tears
Watching him run away
I slowly moved my way to the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack and holding it to my face as tears rushed outof my eyes
This wasn't ryland,he never drinks this much,he would never hit me he loves me...does he
I was sobbing by now and made my way to the couch and layed down,Uno was next to me
And with that I fell asleep
~later in the AM I promise this is the last time skip😂~
Ryland's POV
I women up with a huge headache trying to remember what happened last night
Then I remembered me slapping someone
I shrugged it off and went downstairs to see Uno in the living room when I found a sleeping shane
Then I noticed something else
He had a huge bruise on his face
It all came rushing back like a river
It was him...
I slapped him...
I hurt him...
Tears ran out of my eyes like a marathon
"Shane"I said gently holding his shoulder
He woke up in a panic and looked at ne
"I'm so sorry"I sobbed
"Me too"he said
"Wha-,wai-,why"I asked
"Because if I hadn't pushed you over the edge none of this would've happened"he said sadly
"Shane you did nothing wrong please know that"I begged
He took my face in his hands and kissed me passionately,I kissed back until be pulled away
"Okay baby"he whispered
