"Ugh! That little fake! Can you believe that the King actually protected her?!", Maine screeched as she was moving back and forth in the bathroom rambling on and on about what happend yesterday.

Zoey was nodding her head and mimicking everything Maine was saying and Jade was just leaning on a wall smirking.

I just quietly looked at her ,
questioning her accusations about Chloe and the King.
I have heard that the 2 of them are very close and the King moslty protects Chloe all the time but rumors say Chloe is dating Ren while two-timing with Tristan. But I'd rather believe nothing of the rumors because after all, I know better than anyone how it felt to be surrounded by lies and accusations about you....

But then who am I to try symphatizing with her when I mostly am hanging out with those people spreading rumors about her?

Really, I might as well not have changed at all from before....

No, maybe I never changed from before.... Maybe I'm still running away from everyone.... Maybe....

"H-huh?!"

I suddenly snapped back from my deep thought and looked at Maine who was wearing an annoyed expression,

"Lucky! Didn't you hear us?! We were asking about what you think would be a good thing to do to teach that faker, Chloe, a lesson about her place in this school!", Maine said while exchanging smirks with Zoey and Jade.

"Lesson..?", I asked worriedly.

"You know, like locking her up in the storage room or backing her up in an alley and letting delinquents do their own things to her... Those kinds of lessons that you know,  be fair for.... A girl like her.", I looked at Zoey's smirk terrified. I knew what they were talking about. I didn't know what to do... What they were going to do was something I wouldn't be able to live through.

I wanted to stop them. To tell them Chloe never deserved any of this. But-

'You little-! Your just a nobody! The only thing your good at is looking pretty!'

But-

'We'll make sure to make this the worst year of your life!"

'Aww... Look at you, everyone hates you now. What? You gonna beg for attention like a dog now? Heh.'

I don't want to disappoint them.

I need to agree in everything they do.

'Why would we be friends with someone as annoying as you?'

It's okay if I lie to myself.
