Jax's POV

"I...I'm inlove with Lucky"

Could you guess who said that?
Me?

Nope.

Its this guy, Ren.
The blue haired competitor I've been keeping an eye on.

Finally, I thought to myself as there was finally someone who admitted his own feelings!

"I know. I'm kinda surprised it took you this long to finally admit it. I'm not gonna ask why it took a while though.", I told him.

He eyed me, "You...uh...Why are you here?", he asked.

I looked at him curiously.

"Why the sudden question? I already told you guys before that I came here for Lucky, and if I haven't then there you have it."

He bit his lip, "That's what I want to know. You came here to meet Lucky again, to apologize...but why? I know you like her and all..."

"I love her.", I corrected, "I don't just like her, I love her."

He looked at me as I said that, I only crossed my arms.

"I know you love her but... why now? Why was it now that you decided to meet her? Why did you want to go meet her here...Why did you even have to start living alone while only having a part time job to live by, just so you could meet her? I mean, why couldn't you just have visited and just apologized to her? Why bother transferring and staying for a long period of time here? Why did you have to run away from home in this moment, at this time, as Lucky is still in her 2nd year of highschool? Your actions were just..."

"Too coincidental?", I finished for him.

"They feel off...This year has so many happenings...Chloe transferred, Lucky became part of our group now you're here...I dont know its just-"

I didn't allow him to continue as I sighed loudly, which made him look at me.

"You're right about that. Loving Lucky can't actually be the only reason I came to study here, in actuallity...I needed to be able to protect her."

Ren looked confused at my last statement. But I only stared at him seriously, because he was the first person I ever told this to. I couldnt even tell Lucky about this reason.

I remembered when Luckys brother emailed me before, he told me what would happen to Lucky, and that I needed to protect her. I knew my parents would stop me, but if my parents were as worried as what would happen to me if I interfered, then I got even more scared on what would happen to Lucky if I dont even try to interfere.

I glanced at Ren who was still looking confused, "The Lucky 4 has more role in this than you think.", I said.

"What do you mean-"

Just then his phone vibrated which made me smirk, Exactly on time ey?

The blue haired boy grabbed his phone from his pocket and the look on his face immediately made my hunch correct.
He looked at me as if shocked to see an over familiar name on his phone, calling him.

I stepped forward, my smirk fading and grabbed the phone from his hand.

He was surprised by my action but before he could steal back his phone, I answered the call.

"Ren, it's me Sean."

Sean. This was the first time I heard his voice yet I already didnt like it.
