9: Confessions

Lucky's POV

"So  as I was saying... I last said that Sean helped me get out of my parent's over protectiveness....So here's when I first met him.....I was Grade 6 then when he moved into the house beside us! I noticed him when I was going home from school and as I passed by him with the car, my window was open then, our eyes met and...."

I leaned closer, "and??"

Could this be those cliche moments in romance movies where in they just felt something spark? Like how the time slowed down as their eyes met eachother's..?

She fidgeted as she tried to find the right words which made me more anxious to know what happend.

".....And then....he...He...."

He......?, I leaned closer, the table edging my stomach at the thinned distance.

"He....

....Threw a ball directly at my face."

---------Awkaward silence.....

"It really hurt! That's why I kept the ball to myself so that he could beg for forgiveness!", Chloe suddenly said as she broke the silence.

Or was I the only one that felt awkward?

As I thought that, I laughed at myself, "Pfft! Ahahahaha!!"

Seriously! And here I thought their first meeting was going to be romantic and cliche but....

I continued laughing as Chloe looked at me confused, "Why are you laughing?! The way he threw it was so painful y'know?!"

I tried to answer her as I was still laughing, "He threw, ahaha, a ball at you! hahaha what kind of first meeting was that?!"

Throwing a ball at her face? That 'Sean' guy.... sounds really interesting!

As I said that, she paused for a moment then started laughing as well, "haha, I guess it was kind of ridiculous when you think about it now....Haha!"

"And two day's after, he transferred to my school and immediately asked for his ball back. I guess, that's when we started to get close. Y'know... after all that arguments and misunderstandings.... we just suddenly became a person that understood eachother the most.", she said after she finished laughing.

I smiled softly as she showed such a soft and warm expression.

"You sound perfect for eachother...", I said softly.

She blushed for a bit then returned back to normal,"S-So~ I guess we should go back now?"

I looked at my watch and saw it was already 3:23 pm and nodded at Chloe, "Yeah, you're right."

I stretched my hands to grab the groceries and as I was grabbing them, my eyes wandered  outside and saw a person looking somewhere....no, he's looking at us.

I tensed at that, and tried to get a better glimpse of his face...

It's better to remember his face if he suddenly stalks us.....

Once I met his eyes, I was greeted by his green orbs that seemed too familiar....

Green orbs....

"The only thing great about her is her face."

As realization dawned to me, I felt my whole body shake and as my vision slowly became blurry...
