5: Saviors

"K-King....", I whispered to myself.

But as soon as I saw him, I immediately turned to face Chloe only to see her lying on the ground.

"Ch-Chloe?!"

I kneeled down beside her and frantically pondered on how she collapsed.

W-what if s-she's d-dead...?!

I almost cried again at my thought.

N-no....That's over exagerated....

But I couldn't help but worry over what would happen if she never wake's up.

"C-Chloe....please...Wake up..."

I whimpered as I shook her body. As she wouldn't wake up, the thought that she'll never wake up once again came into my mind and my eyes started to sting once more.

"She's fine, she just collapsed from exhaustion."

I jolted when a hand held my shoulder and a figure knelt down beside me.

As I looked at the person who was now beside me, I couldn't help but let my tears come out finally once again.

"R-Ren..."

He smiled at me. A smile that was like a prince.

But I knew it wasn't for me. For after smiling at me he immediately faced Chloe and stared at her passionately, full of worry and kindness.

I wiped my tears and smiled at the scene.

I hope one day a person would look at me like that too...

"I know you guy's are happy to be safe, but could'ya celebrate later?! You need to take Chloe out first!"

We both turned to see King now facing us with an irritated face.

I couldn't help but giggle at him.

"What are you laughing all about?"

I immediately shut my mouth when he glared at me and looked away.

"N-nothing..."

He glared at me for a second then he looked back at Ren.

I sighed in relief when he turned away.

"Where are those 3 girls?", Ren asked.

I looked around and realized we were the only ones left here.

They probably fled after realizing the king was here...

"They fled once they realized I was the one here and was also the one who took the blow."

I smiled as I guessed right.

"I was actually expecting them to act b*tchly infront of me too so I could shut them up."

He grinned as he imagined how that would have turned out.

I only shivered at that thought.

"Anyway, let's get out of here and bring Chloe home so she can be aided.", The king added.

Ren nodded and was going to carry Chloe when I stopped him, "W-wait!"

He was surprised when I suddenly pulled him back down.

He looked at me questionly and I only smiled awkardly.

"I-I'll carry her!"

I could feel the king looking at me at my statement though I didn't know if he was glaring or not, which is which,I don't plan to know.
