10: An Unwanted Surprise

Ren's POV

.........

I already stopped crying but Lucky was still hugging me, still crying on my shoulder...

I stiffled a laugh as I kept patting her back slowly as she kept crying, "There, there.... I'm still confused on why you're crying more than I am...."

She finally let go off me as she wiped her tears and laughed at herself.

"pfft...I'm really weird aren't I?" ,she said smiling at me.

I felt my heart skip a beat at her smile.

Wait, what? No....That must be a mistake..

I shook my head to remind myself that Lucky is only a friend....And that I already have someone I like....

Though that someone already has a boyfriend.

I glanced back at Lucky.

She was still wiping her tears. I could see her shoulders going up and down as she kept sniffing, trying her best to stop crying already.

Her nose was so red and she looked so terrible right now it was kind of...

"Cute.", I said smiling a bit.

She immediately looked at me curiosly, "Huh?"

Once what slipped out my mouth dawned to me, I felt my face turn red, "H-huh?!"

I immediately turned my face away as I tried to regain my normal face color.

What was that?! This can't be happening! I can't be inlove with Lucky!

Lucky's POV

"Ren?", I asked as Ren suddenly faced away from me.

I could see his ears turning red.

Is he sick?

I inched closer to him...

He was already slowly turning his head back to face mine but as soon as he turned properly to face me, our faces were suddenly inches apart.

"L-Lucky w-what's wrong?", I could see he was trying to regain his composure but his face was showing the opposite.

Maybe he IS sick.....

I put my hand on his forhead and inched mine closer to his.

"Your not burning up.....But how come your so red??", I asked confused.

"L-Lucky...first, can you move away for the time being. This...position is kinda uncomfortable...", he said as he covered his face, trying to hide it's redness.

I looked at our position right now and turned red as well, "O-oh! A-ah y-yeah!! Right, right! I'll move away!!"

As I went back to my original position, far away as possible from Ren, I touched my face with both my hands as I felt my it burning.

I could feel Ren turning red as well as he was glancing away from me.

Stupid! Stupid! No wonder he got red!! What were you thinking doing that?! Ofcourse he'd be embarassed!

But....

I glanced at him...

He was already blushing even before I did that....

I wonder what he was thinking about then?

The only reason I can think of for him being this red is....
