Miles POV

Tristan and I walk into the auditorium, searching for our seats. It was already packed with graduates and their families along with dignitaries. I look up on stage to see my father talking with one of my teachers. I glare at him. Even seeing him just makes me so damn angry. I had every bit of me to go up there and punch his sorry ass face. I look beside me to see Tristan holding my caressing my hand. I sighed. Today was a special today for the both of us and I didn't wanna mess it up. We make our way to the back where we meet Tiny, Zig, Maya, Lexi, and Zoe.

"This is it," Maya says as we all gather together. I stare at each and everyone one of them.

"Yeah I mean it's been a pretty busy year but we all finally did it," Tiny puts his arm around Zoe. I smile at Maya and sigh.

"We've all been through so much crap but I honestly wouldn't change anything. Thanks for a pretty great Senior year," I put my hand on Maya's shoulder and she looks up at me.

"So..." she walks over to Zig and the two gold hands. "We have some news to share with you guys!" Maya says as she stared into Zig's eyes.

"Maya and I took a test last last week..." Zig started to say. We all exchanged glances and waited for the two to say what they were going to say.

"I'm pregnant..." Maya exclaims. Tristan's eyes widens and I see everyone's expressions.

"Wow uh, didn't know that you and Tristan made a pregnancy pact," he joked. Zoe rolls her eyes and moves his hand away from her. "By that I mean...congrats man. You're gonna be a good dad," confusing as though it may be, I found it hard to believe that they were expecting. Zoe and Tiny rushed off to their seats. Tristan grabbed Maya's hand and smile.

"I'm scared," I hear her say. "Does it hurt?" Tristan looks up at me and sighs.

"Take good care of yourself...and watch out for shady people. The only thing scary is the fear of losing your little one...but you're gonna be fine, Maya. You're strong. You'll make it through," I smile at Tristan and turn to Zig.

"Dude," I start to say. "Congratulations,"

"Dude thanks how is it like being a dad?"

"A lot of sleepless nights, no free time for your significant other. And it's very expensive," I stare at Zigs face and seen how nervous he looked. I patted his pack and chuckled.

"But it's all worth it. I love Hope so much and she honestly just brightens my day," I look back to see Anya carrying Hope. We all gather around her.

"I couldn't wait til later but she kept saying it in the car. Go head baby, say it...." we waited for Hope to speak. She looked up at her Aunt Anya then at Tristan. She looked over at me and started to chuckle.

"Dada dada," my eyes widened with joy. "Ba da boo dada hehe," Tristan rested his head on my shoulder and covered his face with both of his hands. I slowly remove them to see his tears falling on his cheeks.

"She's gotten so big already, Miles. She's growing so fast..." Anya gives me a look and then hands Hope over to me. Hope leans her head to my head and then turns to Tristan to show him a silly face. We all burst into laughter.

"She's perfect," Maya says as she leans to Zig.

"Excuse me?" Principal Simpson says. "We can't start without you two. Come on, now,"

"Lets go,"

My dad gives a long speech on education and how parents play a huge role in their child's success. Pfft. Not him, anyway. I always wished to have parents like Tristan's. My mom always loved and supported me. But my dad was just plain evil. I really thought that he could change. After his long speech, he concludes as he introduces me.

"I'd like to call upon my son to give his Valedictorian remarks," I walk up stage and everyone claps for me. My dad pulls me into a hug and immediately laugh.

"You're so fake. I know what you did with Lexi. This isn't over. You'll be done as mayor when I'm through with you," I whispered to him and almost kill Tristan also our baby  before I proceeded to the podium. The gym was quiet and I stared at everyone's faces.

"Okay so...I was told to give a speech. Being a teen parent and having the ability to go to school and raise a child is hard work. I am your Valedictorian according to the tabulation of grades...but the person who deserves to give this speech more than me, the person who sacrificed so much for me and my daughter is my husband, Tristan Milligan Hollingsworth," I look at Tristan who was completely shocked. Zoe smiled at me and clapped. Everyone clapped as well as Tristan made his way to the stage. This felt so surreal. It felt like it was just a dream. Actually, it was a dream. A dream that became reality.

"Gee, Miles. I wish you'd have told me sooner that way I would've prepared a speech for you guys." He let out a low giggle.

"Um...so this year didn't really start out the way we planned. I got pregnant. Miles and I...we were expecting a baby and it was a lot...to take in. I mean, everyone was supportive but there were a few disgruntled students who had a problem with me being...knocked up. But with all the love and support from my family and friends, I'm standing before you all today giving a speech."
He looked at me and bit his lip. I could tell he was a little nervous. I smiled at him and mouthed the words "I love you". He nodded.

"I just wanna say to all the teen moms out there that no one can tell you what you can or can't do. Always expect the unexpected. Never listen to those who tell you that you can't do anything because they are irrelevant. To my fellow class, I bid you all a farewell but let's take what we've learned during these four years here and use it in the real world. With that being said, We say good bye to the amazing staff and administration here at Degrassi. And we open ourselves up to the many different possibilities of the adult world. We did it! Yay!" I smile at him as I stood up and pulled him in for a kiss. The gym was filled with applause and cheers. This was it.

Whatever it takes..
I know I can make it trough
Whatever it takes..
I know I can make it.... I can make it
I can make it through...
