Tuesday recess, I checked that I had everything needed for my CCA (Co-Curricular Activities) after school. "Brush, pallet, paint..." I muttered as I took the materials out of my bag. The bell rang and I arranged everything neatly back into my bag before looking out of the window since I had the 'corner seat'. Mr Jones is early today I noticed. No one except 2 of us were in class.
"Oh hello Kristine!" He smiled when he saw me. Oh shit.
"Good morning Mr Jones." I greeted awkwardly. He removed some books from his bag, arranging it neatly on the teacher's desk. I looked down at my History worksheet, feeling weird.
Jeremy entered the classroom, ignoring the teacher. "Hey hot stuff, wanna meet up after school today?" He asked.
"I have CCA today."
"Tomorrow?"
"Why should I hang out with you?"
"Meet my friends. I've met yours."
"If Emilia's there, then no. I can feel that she doesn't like me."
"She doesn't? How do you know?" He frowned.
"Cause I'm a girl." I rolled my eyes.
"Fine. She won't be there. Now will you come?" He asked again.
"Are you sure it's to meet your friends?" I asked suspiciously and he nodded.
"Fine..." I sighed, knowing that he'll disturb me until I agree.
"That's great," he smirked, "Wait for me in class after school tomorrow."
Why did I even agree to him? I feel like he's trying to be my friend but I don't want to. Do I? But I have no choice. I already agreed.

*Ringggggggg*
I packed my bag quickly and waited for Jeremy to pack. "Done?" He asked me while he slung his bag over his right shoulder.
"I was done before you, bitch." I rolled my eyes, walking out of the class with him.
He was walking towards the main staircase when I stopped him, "Can we take this one?" I pointed to the one nearer to our class, "I don't want people to see both of us together."
He laughed, "What's wrong? You embarrassed?" He side hugged me.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" I screamed, shaking his arm off.
"What?" He laughed.
"I just said I don't want people to see us. They'll get the wrong idea like Sophie did. Plus, I'm not even that close to you. I'm only agreeing because I know you're going to disturb me till I agree. No physical contact between us or I'll leave immediately." I warned him.
He raised his to hands to surrender, "Fine. Ok." So we took the staircase nearest to us. We were so 'lucky' to meet Sophie on the way. She scowled at me again but when she saw Jeremy, her expression changed. We walked out of the school gates, and I received lots of jealous glances from many girls. I followed him, unsure of where he was going. We walked and I realised that it was the same route that I took.
"Where are you bringing me?" I asked, having a bad feeling.
"My house." He answered casually. Oh my gawd. I have a feeling his house is very close to mine. We walked past 'my house' and I gulped. The street that I was staying on is 'separated' into 2 parts by a road. On side is the 'poor' side, which is the side that I'm staying on and the other is the 'rich' side that I guess is where he stays. I counted 2 minutes when he stopped in front of a house. I gawked at the house. It was big. The gates were matt black and the house was 3 stories high. I don't even want to talk about the inside. As if on cue, the gates opened by itself.
