"And then he was like, "GET OUT OF THE CLASS YOU...CHILD!" And I was just like "Thank you for excusing me madam!" with a bow." Axel told us about his Geography lesson with Mdm Price. It has already been a week after what happened to Jax's father and Jax has not even attended a single day of school.
"She said child?" I laughed. Who says child to 17 year old students?
"Yeah and everyone was trying not to laugh. But I got to skip Geography so that's great."
"Let's see who'll have the last laugh when you fail Geography," Jeremy muttered. We are currently on the way to the hospital to visit Jax and I'm hoping he's ok. Please let him be ok, I have no idea what I would do with him being all sad and depressed, cooped up in the same room. Please be ok, please be ok, please-
"Kristine? Kristine!" I was called out of my thoughts,
"Huh?" I turned to look at Jeremy who looked at me for a second before focusing his attention back onto the road.
"I asked whether you want to watch a movie at my house. We have nothing to do anyway. Maybe try to persuade Jax to come along at the same time."
"Good idea," I looked out of the window, still worried about my boyfriend.
"But what about the popcorn? The chips, chocolate, candies, drinks-"
"Woah girl, are you like on your period or something? Why all the food?" Axel cut off my thoughts of food paradise.
"Here're some tips for you, idiot. Number 1, don't ask a girl whether she's on her fucking period. Number 2, what's wrong with food? Are you human? Don't you need food? Food is bae, my boy. It's life. And number 3, don't interrupt me when I'm talking about food. Just listen."
"Bossy bitch," He muttered. I don't think I was meant to hear him but I did.
"What did you call me?" I hissed, turning my body back to face him.
"What did I call you?" He smiled innocently, "OUCH! HEY!"
I smirked at myself, satisfied at my good aim despite the tiny distance between us. The tissue box hit his forehead square and I silently cheered. I think today is my lucky day, my aiming is surprisingly good! I pulled my hoodie over my head, covering my eyes. "Wake me when we reach," I mumbled before drifting off to sleep.
***
"Oi...Kristine! Kristine!" I felt someone poking my arm."Ergh...go away I wanna sleep," I swatted my hand at that person.
"Pig," I heard him mutter. But not soft enough for me to not hear him.
My eyes shot open and I glared at the person that insulted me. Jeremy Lewis. That idiot. "So I'm a pig right?" I said calmly. He didn't reply me but shot out of the car into the main doors of the hospital. Hospital, oh right! We came to see Jax. But still, he called me a pig and I shall get my revenge. Now or later, who cares. I pushed the car door open and ran after Jeremy. I wonder where Axel went or who's going to lock the car. But revenge is my priority now.
When I entered the sliding doors, I spotted Jeremy waiting for the lift. Gotcha. I smirked and ran towards him. His panicking face was priceless. Although I have no idea why he would be afraid of someone like me. I ran faster and managed to catch up just when the lift doors slid open. "Oh no you don't," I grabbed the back of his shirt when he stepped into the lift. His hand suddenly reached behind and grabbed my right arm, which was grabbing onto his shirt. He turned me around and pulled me towards his chest. I could hear the lift door slidding close. I gulped at the small (or no) gap between us. We were practically chest to chest (not really since I'm shorter than him but you get what I mean). I felt one of his free hand creep around my waist, probably to press the button.
Awkward silence...
I coughed and pried my arm from his grip, stepping away from him. I noticed his eyes shift to look at my chest. I coughed again, crossing my arms over my chest. "Are you checking me out?!" I asked in disbelief.
"I'm not staring at your boobs, I'm staring at your heart." He smirked.
Whattt???
Oh wait.
Was that a pick up line?!
Oh my fucking gawd.
"Pigs don't have boobs," I rolled my eyes, even though I'm trying my best not to blush. The lift door opened and I couldn't control it when he walked beside me. I blushed.
"But pigs have nice buns," He shrugged. I blushed even harder.
"How would you even know that?! Oh my gawd. You not only check girls out, you even check pigs out?!" All he did was smile.
"You disgusting son of a-"
"No cursing," He put a finger on my lip. As if he's so innocent. I opened my mouth to bite his finger but he jabbed me at my sides.
"Hey!" I started laughing. I'm scared of tickles. It's like, you laugh even though its painful and torturing but it's not a single bit funny. Unless you're the one tickling someone else. Mwuahaha.
"Please keep your noise level down," A nurse with brown hair told us.
"Sorry," I blushed again, this time embarrassed. Jeremy snickered and I glared at him. What a bitch.
"Tell me."
"Tell you what?" He continued walking.
"How do you know pigs have nice butts. It's not like we have pigs here in our country."
He stopped and turned to me.
"Cause I already have one with me," He smiled and walked off, leaving me blushing super red like a tomato.
