"Kristine...Kristine..." I felt someone poking my arm. I opened my eyes a little to see Jax smiling at me. Our arms were still around each other and I recalled everything that happened before I slept.

Know I like you.

That voice of his repeated that in my head like a broken radio. "What's the time?" I asked, rubbing my face. I bet my hair's in a mess. I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear the last thing he said before I slept.

"5."

"Ergh...your arm's probably sore. Why didn't you wake me up earlier? Then it won't be as sore as now..." I feel so guilty to just sleep and let his hand go sore. I ran my hand through my hair in hopes of making it neater if it was even messy.

"My arm's not sore."

Lies.

"And I know you're tired so I didn't want to wake you up. Plus, you look cute when you sleep," He chuckled and I flushed. Oh my gawd. He saw my sleeping face! He's one of the few guys that saw me when I'm sleeping! Arghhhhh!!! This is so embarrassing!!! I buried my face into my palms, utterly embarrassed.

"Now what's wrong?" He laughed as he removed his arms from me.

"You saw my sleeping face! That's so embarrassing!!!" I gave him a muffled answer.

"You look fine when you sleep Kristine, except..." He trailed off with a smile.

"EXCEPT?! There's and except?! Fucking hell! What can be worse than allowing someone to see my sleeping face?! Oh my shit! WHAT EXCEPT?! Or is it my bed head?! TELL ME!" I'm starting to go crazy.

"Chill," He laughed, crossing his legs, "Except I like looking at you when you sleep. You looked so peaceful...and cute." He quickly added the last 2 words. I flushed even more and hid under his blanket.

"I was sleeping too Kristine, don't have to worry so much. And your hair looks fine." I came out from under the blanket.

"Anyway, it's already 5, you better go now," He told me as we got of his bed. I took all my belongings and we exited his room.

"Mum! I'm fetching Kristine home!" Jax took the keys of its hook. Mrs Davis came out of the kitchen and looked at us.

"Wow. You 2 look...great. Did you 2..." She wiggled her eyebrows again and we knew what she meant again. It's funny how Mrs Davis was so straight foward with a son. Not a daughter, but a son. Wouldn't it be weird talking about those stuff? If you get what I mean.

"Mum!" Jax gasped, "For the last time, we're not a thing and she's not a one night stand or whatever. And it's not even night anyway...she's my best friend. I won't do anything to her. She was tired so I let her rest."

Mrs Davis wiggled her eyebrows again, "Sleep on your bed huh? That's a first..."

"BYE MUM!" Jax ignored her and took my hand, leading me out of his house. I managed to say bye to Mrs Davis just before Jax closed the door.

"Sorry about my mum," Jax apologised and opened the gates.

"Oh there's nothing to be sorry about, she's your mum! And I like her." I laughed.

"Really?" He seems genuinely shocked. I nodded and we got into his car. We reached my house in 10 minutes and it was already 5.35.

"Thanks for today," I stood outside the gates.

"No I should thank you for today. We didn't do much but I had fun." I smiled at his comment and he walked forward. He took my right hand in his left and lifted it, kissing my hand. I blushed.
